I would highly recommend this day trip from Kyiv for anyone. It is such an eye opener and so astonishing to see the extravagant waste and corruption of the Yanukovich regime at the cost of the Ukrainian people. It's pretty disgusting (not to mention tasteless) and is really important for people to understand.
<p>I booked most of my excursions in Kiev with this company and it truly was a 5 star experience. The grounds of former President Yankovych were gorgeous and a wonderful break from touring the city. I highly suggest taking this tour when you are in Kiev.</p>
Although you can certainly get yourself to the "House of Corruption," it would be difficult to see it on your own unless you speak Ukrainian. Our guide Alex (Argotour) knew what exactly where to be and when, in order to beat the crowds. He was also very knowledgeable about the house, the grounds, and Ukrainian history in general--which was great, because we were full of questions!
