For this reason the number of boats on the market fluctuates depending on harvesting seasons and market demand. Furthermore, modern wholesale markets are becoming more popular in Vietnam. This can result in decreasing numbers of boats being present on the markets.

Itinerary
You will reach Cai Be at 9.30 AM. Up on your arrival in Cai Be, you will visit Cao Dai Temple which is symbolizing for the local unique religion and then the Cai Be Cathedral.
you will embark on the boat to visit the inland and floating markets of Cai Be to observe the daily life of local people as well as to know how the two markets different from each other. You will buy fresh tropical fruits right at locals’ own boats and have chance to talk to them for exploring more their own culture value along with their daily life.
You will continue with a hand-rowing boat tour to discover the exciting Mekong river life. The small boat will travel through the tiny canals and lead you to the mysterious spots of Mekong Delta. Back to the main tourist boat and transfer to a local host in Tan Phong Island. Take a short rest, have a drink and taste the local fresh fruits. After Lunch, we will cycle around Tan Phong Island to visit Tan Phong Island. If it is on schooldays, you will also have a chance to make friends with local cute and gentle pupils in a village school. Stop at a local farmer’s house to savour a cup of tea and local specialties of banana candies. You can try plucking the fruits at the host’s garden and talk to him to understand how local farmers take care for their gardens. Saying goodbye to the hospitable host, we keep on biking to the bang conical hat (nón bàng) workshop if they open.

Breath taking private tour of the Mekong Delta was so informative and calming to learn of the beautiful river island 🏝️ just outside of Ho Chi Minh City where most of the locals from the country side come from. Mekong Delta tour was amazing, never seen a place like it before. It was so peaceful and the boat rides were fun. Through Asianway travel, i traveled from Hanoi to Ho Chi Mihn city including Sapa and Halong Bay. All of it was made super easy and adjustable when needed by Tina. Me and my group chose Asianway travel to visit mekong delta because their chu chi tunnel tour was superb.Mr.Hoa from Asianway travel picked up us from the hotel. We went to see the delta in a luxury bus. Everything was well coordinated by our tour guide,Mr Hoa. We were able to know the countryside of vietnamese. Mr. Hoa showed us the traditional houses in country side. We also enjoyed cultural music and ate fruits. We enjoyed honey tea at bea farms. We went on a hand rowing boat. Even the lunch was included in the package with another sightseeing. We also visited vinh trang buddhist temple which is a must to visit! So at the end of the tour we are very much happy..If anyone is reading my review, I can recommend Asianway travel is the best travel agency in the Ho chi minh city.
