We pick up all passengers from their cruise departure or from their accommodations throughout Almeria and its towns in a very comfortable, well-acclimatized authorized transport with professional drivers.
After approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, you will arrive at the Alhambra, where your official guide will be waiting for you with the tickets to the Alhambra, which include the Nasrid Palaces. You will enjoy this World Heritage jewel and the last refuge of Muslims on the Iberian Peninsula for almost 3 hours.
After the cultural visit to the Alhambra, we will transfer the clients to the center of Granada where the Plaza de Izabel La Católica, the Cathedral, the Restaurants and the Alcaicería will be visited for 1 hour and a half of free time without a guide.
After free time without a guide in the center of Granada, we begin the return transfer to drop guests off at their departure points, whether hotels or cruise ships. Of course, we take into account cruise ship boarding times so that all travelers arrive comfortably at their cruise ships.

The tour of the gardens, castle and buildings on the ground was nice. It’s a lot of walking but there’s some optional things so able to be somewhat customized. Our guide was very knowledgeable and did a good job explaining the history and significance throughout. She also gave us some good recommendations for Grenada. I would highly recommend the tour. The reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 was the driver. We worried that we wouldn’t make it back to the cruise on time. She was late picking us up in the morning, post the guided tour and she didn’t take us to the drop off place the guide recommended in town and then she couldn’t figure out how to get into the cruise port at the end leaving us in a panic to locate someone to help her.
We’re very sorry for the small delay of four minutes at your pickup from the Port of Almería. The driver originally scheduled had an unexpected issue, so we sent another equally professional driver who didn’t know the port and had to follow his GPS carefully, which caused the slight delay. The same happened on the way back, but please don’t worry—we always plan with plenty of time, have full insurance, and make sure all our clients reach their cruises safely and on time. We hope you enjoyed your visit to the Alhambra! It’s a beautiful palatial city covering 14 hectares, so a three-hour tour with plenty of walking is completely normal.
