Meet the owner of a family-owned Champagne cellar, tour his vineyards and taste his best vintage Champagne in his living room!(tastings included). Possilibity to buy bottles of Champagne directly from the producer without any commission. We can organize Champagne shipping for you. Visit the village of Dom Perignon, its vineyards and seventh century abbey. Opportunity to do some shopping but without any obligation

Itinerary
We pick you up if front of your hotel or anywhere you want in Paris and we drive to the Champagne area. This is a door to door custom private tour.
Arrival in capital of champagne.
Our itinerary will wind through the Champagne region with time to admire authentic landscapes and vineyards along the way. Our first stop will bring us into the cellars of one of the greatest Champagne wineries. (Veuve Clicquot or Moët & Chandon or Mercier or Pommery or others). These cellars of exceptional heritage are the living testimony of several centuries of development. They are the keepers of a real treasure - the memory of human craft and talent throughout history. Depending on the day of the week, we can go to a village market to meet local producers and artisans. The choice of the cellar will depend on availability.
Our next stop will be the village of Hautvillers where you can soak in a breathtaking view of the entire Marne Valley. Hautvillers is also the resting place of the monk Dom Pérignon! We will take retrace his steps back to the origins of Champagne wine.
Visit of the famous Avenue de Champagne with the greatest Champagne houses and have a glass of champagne in one of them. Our lunch near this place will offer the opportunity to taste local dishes if you wish (example: tasting board with an assortment of local products)
Cross the beautiful Champagne countryside and marvel at the typical villages of the region and walk through the vineyards.

We had a wonderful tour to the Champagne region with a small Champagne producer as well as a wildly popular tour of Moët and Chandon. We were headed to Veuve Clicquot and upon arrival discovered it was closed on that day. Our knowledgeable guide quickly pivoted to a champagne house that we had never heard of and we were very pleased with the tasting. Thank you Collin for introducing us to Pommeray Champagne and their very unique property!

Gilles met us at our hotel right in time with the best smile! We spent the entire day with him and his smile remained!
