Pagoda is a beautiful Buddhist temple located in My Tho, Tien Giang province. This pagoda is one of the most famous and important historical and cultural landmarks in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. The temple has been attracting both local and foreign visitors for decades due to its unique architecture and spiritual significance. The Vinh Trang Pagoda was founded in the mid-19th century by a monk named Hue Dang. It is situated on a 2-hectare area and is surrounded by green trees and beautiful gardens. The architecture of the pagoda is a blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Cambodian styles, which makes it unique and captivating. The main building of the pagoda is a large sanctuary that is dedicated to the Buddha. The interior of the temple is beautifully decorated with colorful statues of the Buddha, as well as depictions of Buddhist legends and teachings. The roof of the temple is decorated with dragon-shaped ornaments, which is a common feature of traditional architecture.

We went yesterday on a private version of Local ‘Less-Known’ Mekong Delta My Tho 1-Day Tour from Ho Chi Minh city. The arrangement was that in addition to the tour, Joy Journeys would also transfer the two of us to Can Tho from My Tho. The arrangements made for the two of us were excellent. The car was good, everything on schedule. Most important, our guide, Vy, was a lovely and informative young woman who explained everything along the way. English good. She was also very responsive and flexible in making changes we requested as the day unfolded. Further, she took excellent pictures on her own camera which she then shared. The highlights for us were the time on the water and the authentic restaurant we had lunch at. In both planning and executing the trip, Joy Journeys was helpful, responsive and reliable in every aspect.
So many activities packed in one day! Everything served to us was good! Typhoon Honey made sure we are well accommodated. Highly recommended tour guide!
A long day spent in Mekong river. Thank you Joy Journeys for putting us through this trip. Thank you to Ms Sunny Châu for being supportive and guiding my family throughout the whole trip. Hats of to her.
Typhoon Honey was awesome a really cool authentic experience. Brought us to some authentic places and showed us real Vietnam!
Thanks for the day Typhoon Honey, gave us lots of info about the places we stopped, made sure we ran on time and didn’t get stuck in the crowds when other tourist show up. Was very friendly and knowledgeable
Very comfortable the customized Van and the early pick up at your location. Our guide Typhoon was very knowledgeable and did a very good job at explaining the history of Vietnam and the importance of the Mekong River since the beginning of times. Despite all the activities performed, we did not feel overwhelmed and we finish on time.
Our tour with Typhoon Honey was fun! The canals of the Mekong Delta are beautiful, and the vegan food provided for lunch was good. Typhoon knows a lot about history so that made the tour even more interesting. The cooking class however is not so much of a class as it is a chance to fry banh xeo batter. Still very delicious and the restaurant was beautiful!
