The trip was good! We were so interested in the history and culture that we asked multiple questions and the guide answered them very well. However we felt that the guide got a bit irritated whenever we asked a question so his voice got angry.
I am very disappointed to hear that , first i was not angry or upset when you late 1 h , I was not angry of repeating the same information more than one time , Maybe at the end of the tour it was hot and another tour guide stand behind me and explained in loud voice so i explained in loud voice so you can hear better without interrupting from him , All the time i was smiling and happy with you , if this is the one time you can remember very well the big group stand behind me
What to know: • Good air conditioned car • Guide speaks good English and is an expert in egyptology • You can see 3 tombs, extra tombs is added cost • Make sure you negotiate prices in Alabaster shop. You can definitely get a 20-30% discount • Use sunscreen and wear a hat, the sun is harsh • Plastic water bottles get hot very fast. Bring your own The Good: • The valley itself is amazing and definitely a must see when in Luxor. • Guide spoke good English and is very knowledgeable • Very friendly guide and driver, minimal waiting • Fully included pricing (except tipping) The Bad: • This is more of an independent tour. The guide will explain a lot to you and then let you discover on your own. This is good, but you miss the experience of someone walking you through each tomb and explaining specifics live
Our tour guide Ahmed was great. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience both fun and informative. His enthusiasm for the area was contagious, and he took the time to answer all our questions. Our driver Salamah was professional, friendly, and made the ride comfortable and stress-free. We had a 1/2 day trip to the west Bank and it was GREAT . The guide , Ahmed, was superb. His knowledge was excellent, and service was superb.. He stayed with us the whole time , and pointed out good things and things to avoid. I have a problem with my leg , so Ahmed arrange for the car to drive as close as possible to the entrance . That was very much appreciated .. The weather was great , so we were able to walk around a lot .. All things considered a Great Tour ..
Our trip is very nice with our tour guide Ahmed and Salamah (the driver). He is so friendly and detailed. He knows what he is talking about. I warmly recommend him.
What can I say? I thought I knew it all until I met Ahmed. He was a wealth of knowledge and answered all my questions. We took our time, i Mean we really took our time. He was patient and kind. We were able to take pictures and tour and a nice relaxed pace. I highly recommend Ahmed for all your Luxor tours.
