Our tour guide will introduce you to some of Hanoi's finest local cuisine. He will give you an insight into the intricacies and traditions of Vietnamese food culture, including details on ingredients and historical backgrounds of popular northern dishes. You will have the opportunity to taste noodles with grilled pork - Bun Cha, Vietnamese bread, dried beef mannequin, Trang Tien ice-cream. You not only try Vietnamese food, but also have time to having friendly talk hospitable local people and observe the local life. Continuing into the atmospheric heart of the Old Quarter, we wander past street stalls and quiet residential lanes where you can observe local life that has changed little since Hanoi was founded over 1000 years ago.
Then, we move to the train street, you can drink a cup of Vietnamese coffee/ egg coffee or Vietnamese tea, listen about railway history, view the local life and see the train passing. You can take many nice photos if you want on colorful train street. After visiting and tasting Vietnam cuisine, the car will take you back to your hotel. End tour.

I had the best time ever spending time with Trang. She showed me Hanoi, Westlake area and Hoan Kiem Lake area, and I loved it. She knew a lot about the architecture, culture, food and history. We went on a tour together, really felt I was with a friend spending the day. Getting some icecreams, drinking the best egg coffee there is, and eating the best street food. I loved her. I would recommend this Hanoi daytrip to anyone!
