Apart from being the center of the kingdom's power for more than 200 years, it is regarded as the oldest and the most beautifully decorated place of Bangkok.
In the complex, visit the Temple of Emerald Buddha that enshrines the most revered Buddha image in the Kingdom. The Emerald Buddha or Phra Kaew Morakot is also considered as the palladium of Thailand.
Enjoy a discovery trip into the canals of Thonburi by a long-tailed boat, passing by ancient temples among lush greenery, wooden houses built on stilts, coconut groves, garlanded shrines, and spirit houses and also vendors offering goods on their boats.
The famous "Temple of Dawn" or" Wat Arun." Its most attractive and conspicuous feature is the 79-meter-high Prang of the pagoda which glitters from thousands of porcelain fragments.

My wife and I enjoyed our private tour on March 25. Our guide and driver did excellent jobs. We are seniors and I'm hard of hearing. Our guide made sure we stayed safe walking around the sites as well as getting off and on the boat. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the city and the places we visited and explained things in an entertaining way. We would recommend this guide, driver and tour.
Wonderful half day tour with an excellent guide! It was very relaxed in depth tour of the beautiful temples and canals of Bangkok!
Our Guide Tina was knowledgeable and passionate about her city and people. We learned a lot about Thailand by talking with her. The tour was prompt on pick up and the site stops were well organized.
The guide was unprepared and had difficulty communicating - e.g. he knew very little about Thai history or what he was supposed to do during the day. In the middle of the tour we waited 30 minutes for a car that drove us 500 meters (which was absolutely ridiculous) and in the end of the tour we had to take a taxi home because it was closer/faster than driving to the place where”our car” was parked. In hindsight, we would have preferred to travel independently, as it would have been more simple and cost-effective. This tour was the worst tour we took in our 20+ years in Thailand.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We were deeply concerned to read about your experience, as it falls far short of the high standards we have aimed to maintain. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the frustration you felt during your day with us. Regarding the logistical issues you mentioned, we would like to provide some context on the challenges faced that day. Our guide’s intention in utilizing the vehicle for short distances—including the 500-meter stretch—was an attempt to provide relief from the intense heat and humidity, particularly as there were children in your party. Unfortunately, unforeseen and heavy traffic congestion near the Grand Palace resulted in a 30-minute delay, which we realize was incredibly inconvenient and disrupted the flow of your tour. In an effort to save time at the end of the day due to long queues at the ferry pier, our guide made the decision to arrange a taxi directly to your hotel to ensure you arrived home as quickly and comfortably as possible. We apologize if this felt disorganized; the goal was to prioritize your convenience over returning to the original tour vehicle. We also take your comments regarding the historical commentary very seriously. While this guide has a strong track record with our team, we are conducting an internal review of the tour content and communication style to ensure our storytelling meets the expectations of seasoned travelers like yourselves. We truly regret that this experience did not live up to your expectations and we will use your comments to improve our services for the future.
We had an amazing time on this tour. We did it on our first day in Bangkok (we had a short stay) and it was a perfect introduction to some of the historical sights. Our guide was so knowledgeable but also aware of how we were feeling, checking in to see if we wanted to move o or hear more information. We learned a lot and also had a lot of fun. The long boat was so relaxing and we saw several monitor lizards, cat fish and birds. Totally recommend.
We had a limited time in Bangkok, and it was our first visit to the city. This tour itinerary helped us make efficient use of our time and see several main attractions in a pleasant half day. Our guide, Jessie, was lovely! She was very knowledgeable about both history and modern Thai life. She shared so much information with us and navigated the crowds with ease. This is a great way to make use of a short visit or get your bearings.
Very comfortable guide, but thats all. Not good logistic. Boat trip throw the channels was terrible. Very noisy boat and smell and jerk sites. No more..
Dear Andrey, Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased that you found the guide comfortable, though we regret that the boat trip through Bangkok’s canals did not meet your expectations. Longtail boats are a traditional mode of transport in Bangkok’s waterways, and while they do provide an authentic experience, we understand that their noise level and certain environmental factors may not be ideal for everyone. The canal tour offers a glimpse into the city's historic waterways and local life, but we acknowledge that it may not be to everyone’s preference. We appreciate your honest feedback and hope to have the opportunity to provide a more enjoyable experience in the future.
Great day. Beautiful weather. The tour guide Donald was awesome. Super knowledgeable. he also took us to a great restaurant for lunch. really a fantastic day.
We had a wonderful time with our tour guide Karet. He was very knowledgeable about the sights and about Bangkok/Thailand. We learned a lot during the tour. I can't recommend this tour enough! Well worth the money for the short period of time.
An interesting tour with a very good guide. Well worth it. We recoomend this tour for anyone interested in Thai art and history.
