Pula Historical Walk

It is a fairly short walking tour around the center of the historical area, but worth the steps. Dalen was incredibly knowledgeable and a pleasure to have on the tour. He provided great context to the area, and a personal touch as he is a native of Pula.

Operator response

Thank you, Mo. I truly appreciate it. Wishing you and your family all the very best!

Fantastic Guide

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dalen for a walking tour of Pula. His knowledge is second to none, he was so engaging and interesting and happy to answer all of our questions. He went over and above to help with some private family history research relating to British Military forces, and forwarded on some further information he had researched for us. Brilliant guide, highly recommended.

Operator response

Thank you :-)

Perfect tour, fabulous guide.

First class tour guide. Dalen has a great relaxed style, informative and engaging with a great sense of humour. He is passionate about his city and it's history. I enjoyed learning about the history and some mythology. Enough time given to see each monument, understand the information and take photographs. Dalen was happy to answer all questions. The walking route itself was mostly flat, some steps but nothing too much. Sone great recommendations for other places to visit, also places to eat and drink. I would highly recommend this tour. Thanks so much for an easy pleasant interesting morning

Can’t be excellent local knowledge

This tour was provided by a local who is also a history teacher, and you could tell. His knowledge of the history of Pula and Croatia was second to none. We’ve done walking tours in most Croatian cities now, and he was a cut above the rest. You could tell that he was excited and passionate about the local history, so much so that sometimes he just needs to slow down. Great facts mixed with novel stories. Excellent.
