Visit a less known spot of Dali life, the Pubol Castle, a present that Dali made to his beloved wife and muse Gala. She used to spend summers in this magnificent House-Museum and Dali agreed to not visit her if not previously allowed. When Gala died, Dali himself designed the mausoleum crypt inside the castle and moved there for two years. Take the unique chance to visit the most intimate part of Dali’s life and love.
This Castle was home to Dalí and his wife and muse, Gala. There, she spent her summers from 1971 to 1980, and Dalí agreed to not visit her without having Gala´s permission. When Gala died in 1982, she got buried at the castle, inside a mausoleum, designed by Dalí. The artist spent two years of his life in the castle, after Gala’s death.

We had the pleasure of taking a tour with Dulce, our wonderful guide. Her deep knowledge of the Dali’s museum in Figueras, and Gala’sCastle in Pubol brought every stop to life. What really stood out was Dulce’s passion and her ability to navigate the crowds with ease, ensuring we saw the best spots without feeling rushed. If you're looking for an authentic, insightful, and thoroughly enjoyable way to explore Dali’s universe I cannot recommend Dulce enough. A fantastic experience from start to finish!!!
Dulce and Wander picked us up from the Hotel right on time and safely drove us from Barcelona-Figueres-Pubol-Barcelona. Dulce provided Excellent information about Dali and Gala’s work and life. This was definitely one of the best private tours we could ask for. Thanks Dulce!! You are the Best!!💯
Our guide Dulce was extremely knowledgeable on all things Dali as well as art history in general. She was able to educate us on his background, inspirations, process, etc. It was a great experience and much better than visiting the castle and museum alone as there are no labels on the artwork or audio guides for explanations. Also the tour set up was very interesting because you were able to see a peak into his life before going to see a large exhibit of his artwork.
The Dali tour was one of the most memorable excursions of our trip to Spain. Gaspar was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, and pleasant. He had planned the day very well. We saw all the important places associated with Dali’s life culminating with a tour of the museum. I highly recommend the tour.
My family and I could not have been happier with our decision to do the private tour to Figeres and Pubol to visit the Dali Museum and Gala Dali Castle. Our tour guide Dulce was communicative, personable, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. She was also very protective of our time and experience, which was fortunate considering it was an overwhelmingly busy day at the museum. If you go, i recommend following all her recommendations and requests, even if they might not make sense at the time. She knows what she’s doing.
Highly recommended! Great tour. The guide was excellent. His passion for his work and Dali couldn't be unnoticed. It was a pleasure to visit Dali's places with our tour guide. We have learned a lot.
Ruben, our guide, was knowledgeable and friendly, good sense of humor! He was well prepared for the tour and gave us lots of interesting facts about Dali and Gala. We were able to get to both places and get back to Barcelona on time. Ruben is an excellent driver.
Our driver Ruben made out trip absolutely fabulous. We enjoyed learning about Dali and Gala all day driving to and from Dali museum and Gala house! This combination is great if you want to visit both Dali and Gala’s graves.
Really enjoyed our guide Kurt and loved the entire tour! Pubol was wonderful as was the museum in Figueres
Our guide Andres knows a lot not only about Dali but about art in general and is very didactic as he explains everything in its small details. Also, it is very ample and tastes good places to eat
