Our expert driver will pick you up at your hotel or apartment for an extraordinary private wine tour. We will traverse one of the most beautiful "Tuscan Wine Roads" known as Via Chiantigiana, making stops among the vineyards to capture some picturesque photos. Continuing along the Chianti wine route, we will reach the first winery for an exceptional wine tasting experience.
The first stop on our journey will bring us to one of the most beautiful and quintessential local cellars, such as Guidi Cellar, "Rocca delle Macie," or "Poggio ai Laghi Winery" (one of these will be selected for our visit). These historic cellars are nestled in the heart of Chianti Classico, situated in the most rural part of Chianti. As we explore, there will be an insightful presentation on their distinctive characteristics, detailing the wine and oil production in Chianti. Relax in the serene ambiance of this beautiful locale and indulge in a wine tasting featuring 6/7 of the finest Chianti wines, all while admiring the picturesque rolling hills that surround you.
After completing the first tasting, we will embark on a beautiful itinerary along the wine route to reach the second winery. This establishment also boasts a rich history, quality, and tradition. We will have the opportunity to sample another 6 glasses of Tuscan wines, including Chianti, Vernaccia (considered the finest Italian DOCG white wine), and various Super Tuscan varieties. By the end of both tastings, you will undoubtedly be more knowledgeable and capable of recognizing all the finest wines of Chianti. Both visits will be complemented by technical explanations from the winemakers and include a tour of the cellars.
Stop at a second winery where you will taste: Chianti Classico DOCG, Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva, Supertuscan, and Vermentino, accompanied by a small aperitivo of cured meats and cheeses. The tasting will be led by an expert oenologist/sommelier.

The 2 wineries were great. My family of 4 including 2 kids in their teens had a blast. With all of the tastings we were quite buzzed by the end. Emma at Guidi Cellars and Andreas at Poggio Al Laghi were very informative and Andreas kept repouring our glasses. The Poggio tasting included olive and tartufo oil and balsamic tastings on meat and cheese samples. Our driver, Andrea was very informative on the drive as we passed gorgeous scenery. A very enjoyable 5 hours for just my family in the minivan.

We had the perfect experience with Andrea. He was prompt, engaging and informative. He educated us on the Chianti region and the protocols of having wine certified as Chianti wine. We took a stroll through the quaint town of Castellina and enjoyed browsing in the local shops. We had a private wine tasting at Guidi winery and Emma was great. The wine was so delicious we bought a case and some olive oil, too. Our last stop was in Greva where we had a delicious pizza and bought some murano glasses. It was a perfect day in Tuscany.
Incredible experience, exceeded my expectations! This was my third wine tasting experience in Tuscany, I’ve also been on tours in Sonoma and Northern California and this was as good as any I’ve been on. Stefano was wonderful, on time, friendly, knowledgeable and even took us to the Piazzale Michelangelo for sunset at the end of our tour. The stop in Castellina in Chianti was so picturesque and the vineyard we visited for the tasting was beautiful! The wines were delicious and having an owner/family member of the vineyard there to help guide the tasting and tell us the history of the property made it even more memorable. Exactly what I was hoping for, would absolutely do this again!
Andrea was a fantastic guide. So knowledgeable about Tuscany and its history. He customized the trip for us because in traveler couldn’t walk well enough to visit Castellino.
This was an amazing tour. Not only were we able to visit a vineyard and enjoy some wine tasting, we were able to visit two nearby towns and enjoy a different part of Tuscany. This tour is worth every penny. Our tour guide Andreas was so great! He was very nice, attentive, and accommodating. He was so helpful with my elderly mother in law and helping us handle her mobility chair.

This tour is a must in Florence! Our guide, Andrea, was the best: on time, very helpful and fluent in English, and gave us a lot of tips too.. The ride was very confortable too; the van in perfect condition with air conditioning. I totally recommend it!
