Private Tour 2-Days in Cairo & Giza

Before joining the tour, we were skeptical about other tours' reviews, but then we decided that visiting this city worthed a tour. We have been very happy about our choice! We had Mido as guide, who gave us a lot of interesting information about Egyptian history. He was an amazing guide, since he was also able to give us suggestions about where to spend more time and place to visit. About the agency, we had a professional service: we got what we agreed in advance. Eventually, we had great time with Mido and this tour agency, feeling always safe!

I did this 2 day tour with two different guides. Note, the price was really a good value for what was covered. Both days the drivers were excellent. My issue was with the guides/tour company. Day one's tour guide seem to get bored after this first stop at the pyramids. The remain stops she either stayed in the car while I viewed the sites and explained very little at each site. She only asked if i had any questions about sites I saw. It seem she was more interested in taking phone calls. Not sure if these calls were for future tour planning or personal calls since I did not understand Arabic. Day 2 tour guide arrived 1.75 hours late and it seem the tour time was not adjusted for this late start. When I called the tour company there excuse was "traffic is busy in Cairo", and they assured me it was just a little more time each time before the guide arrived. Based on tour guides explanation, it seem like it might have been a scheduling issue with the tour company because it seem she just learned of the assignment and was doing morning chores at home when she learned of the assignment. This guide was a little more knowledgeable but she too took a lot of phone calls and I was waiting at time doing the tour. I give this a 3 star because the cost was low, a saw a lot of sites and this tour included entrance fees despite the quality of the guides and late start for day two. If I paid much more, the star rating would be lower.
