While travelers always have the option of taking a taxi to/from the airport, we found the (slightly) higher expense associated with the transportation company to be well worth the value. It was comforting and helpful to be greeted at the airport by a professional and gracious driver, who had patiently waited for our flight to arrive and us to emerge from the customs process, rather than trying to navigate the maze of various vendors who are all calling out their service and trying to communicate the correct name/location of our hotel and negotiate price. While we used other local transportation options for short jaunts around the city, this was an excellent match for our round-trip airport transfers!
