JB’s tour was excellent. He was very communicative and made the tour very easy to plan from abroad, including providing champagne and macarons. The logistics were seamless the day of the tour and he provided great historical knowledge of the city during the tour. Plus answering all of our specific questions and providing restaurant recommendations. I would highly recommend this business!
A fantastic private sightseeing of Paris with route of choice. Friendly and professional guiding by J-B and strategic photo-stops! All in the classic 2CV.
Thank you very much for your kind review Aleksandra, It was a pleasure meeting you and your daughter. I hope you both had a wonderful time in Paris and created many happy memories during your stay. Perhaps I'll have the pleasure of welcoming you back at Christmas time, for more beautiful photos! Kind regards, Jean-Baptiste
Amazing experience in the perfect little Citroen! Sunset , amazing weather ,and the perfect Paris evening in an hour.
Thank you very much for your kind review, Jay. The 2CV may not be quite as fast as a Le Mans race car, but I am delighted that you were able to enjoy its charm and character while taking in Paris under such beautiful evening light. I hope that you returned home with wonderful memories of Paris. Kind regards, Jean-Baptiste
Jean -Baptiste is a great advocate for his city. Very knowledgeable and generous with the information. A fantastic, comfortable tour with a difference . Much appreciated the pick up options. Thank you
Thank you for your kind review, Judith. It was a pleasure sharing Paris with you. I must also give some credit to your choice of timing! A Sunday morning is often one of the best moments to explore Paris by car, with lighter traffic and quieter streets allowing us to make the most of the experience. I hope the rest of your stay in Paris was just as enjoyable as our time together, and that you returned home with many wonderful memories. Kind regards, Jean-Baptiste
We had the absolute pleasure of spending the day exploring Paris with our wonderful guide in his iconic red Citroën 2CV, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we met, RJ was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about his city. His insights into Parisian history, culture, architecture, and hidden gems brought the city to life in a way that simply isn’t possible from a guidebook. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen, and he was more than happy to tailor the experience to our interests. The red Citroën itself was a delight — charming, quintessentially French, and guaranteed to turn heads wherever we went. It added an extra layer of magic and authenticity to the experience, making us feel as though we’d stepped into a classic Parisian film. What truly set this tour apart was our guide’s personality. His enthusiasm was infectious, his stories fascinating, and his attention to detail impeccable. He made us feel completely at ease and ensured we saw both the famous landmarks and the lesser-known corners of Paris that many visitors miss. If you’re visiting Paris and want an unforgettable, unique, and thoroughly enjoyable experience, I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Five stars simply don’t seem enough. Merci for such a fantastic day and memories that will last a lifetime
Dear Traveler, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review. I am delighted to hear that you had such a memorable experience with RJ. He is a colleague whom I know and respect, and I am not at all surprised to read such kind words about him and his tours. However, there is one small mystery: RJ does not (yet!) work for Paris by JB, and my own Citroën 2CV is blue rather than red. It appears that your review has accidentally found its way to the wrong tour operator. I have nevertheless forwarded a copy of your review to RJ so that he can enjoy reading your kind comments while we wait and hope that Viator's moderation team will eventually relocate it to the correct listing. I hope the rest of your stay in Paris was every bit as enjoyable as your ride through the city in that famous red 2CV, and perhaps our paths will cross on a future visit to Paris. Kind regards, Jean-Baptiste Paris by JB
Jean-Baptiste was great. His car was awesome. It turned a lot of heads driving around. Unfortunately we did too much driving and not enough stopping to get to see things up close. We covered a lot of ground and traffic slowed things down. We hit the highlights but mostly from the car. If you want to "see" a lot of things in a short period of time this works. Else, you may want to get around yourself and take more time to visit things.
Thank you for your review, Marc. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed both the tour and the little 2CV. One of the goals of these tours is indeed to help visitors discover as much of Paris as possible in a relatively short amount of time, and I'm glad we were able to cover so many of the city's highlights together. You also make a fair point regarding traffic and the balance between driving and stopping. Like all major cities, Paris can sometimes present challenging traffic conditions, particularly during weekday afternoons. I always do my best to avoid congestion by using smaller streets and alternative routes, and your feedback is valuable as I continue refining the experience and scheduling options I offer. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts. I hope you had a wonderful stay in Paris and that the memories of your visit will stay with you for a long time. Kind regards, Jean-Baptiste
We had an excellent time with Jean Baptiste, who has been doing this tour for many years so knows his way around the crazy Paris streets. He totally customized the tour to accommodate out pick up and drop off spots. He even went a bit overtime with a smile on his face. This is by far the BEST WAY to see Paris!
Thank you for your kind review, Maria! It was a real pleasure meeting you three and showing you around Paris. I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour, and I hope your friend had a wonderful birthday celebration here in the city. And of course, if I ever make it to Miami, I'll be counting on you for a guided tour in return! 😊 Thank you again for choosing Paris by JB, and I hope our paths cross again someday. Kind regards, Jean-Baptiste
Our tour with JB was excellent. He was very informative about the city of Paris. JB took us to all the important landmarks for our 2 hour tour. His automobile made the trip even better . Driving around France in an older model Citroen was enjoyable.
Hey, thanks a lot! Glad to hear you had such a great time 😊 The 2CV definitely is a monument on its own, and it’s always fun to drive around Paris and see the smiles on people’s faces along the way ^^ Thanks again, and I hope to see you back in Paris someday! Jean-Baptiste
Traveling around Paris in a C2V with a retractable roof... wonderful! Having an engaging guide like Jon-Batist, who is a walking Wikipedia for everything Paris, makes it really enjoyable. He knew exactly the best spots to get great pictures... not just the primo spot for the Eiffel Tower sparkling at night. We thoroughly enjoyed this 2 hour tour.
Thank you very much for your kind words! If I remember correctly, Wikipedia is a collective work, so perhaps we have that in common 😊 My passengers regularly teach me new things about Paris that I didn’t know myself, and I’m always happy when people get to enjoy and contribute to that shared experience as much as you did. And yes… Paris (and especially the Eiffel Tower) does at least 80% of the work when it comes to beautiful night pictures! Thank you again for your lovely review Kind regards, Jean-Baptiste
We had the best time touring Paris with JB in his awesome Citroen 2CV! It was a beautiful day and driving around the city for two hours with the top down was a delight, as was JB himself. He was friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and kind. It was the perfect way to kick off our week in Paris. We have such a better sense of the layout of the city as well as the history behind both the famous monuments as well as the hidden gems. We cannot recommend JB and this tour enough! Definitely one of the best experiences we’ve had while traveling. Thanks, JB, for everything!
Bonjour Christine, and thank you so much for your kind words, they truly mean a lot to me. Sharing Paris with you under the blue spring sky was a real pleasure, and I hope we’ll meet again someday for new adventures through the city! Thank you again for choosing Paris by JB, and see you soon I hope. Jean-Baptiste
