Refreshing Nuwara Eliya Day Tour

We had an amazing Nuwara Eliya day tour and it was truly a refreshing escape into Sri Lanka’s beautiful hill country. The whole journey was comfortable, relaxing, and full of scenic views. We enjoyed the cool climate and stunning landscapes of Nuwara Eliya, which is often called “Little England.” The lush green tea plantations and misty mountains made every stop feel like a postcard. We also visited a beautiful tea estate where we learned about tea production and got to taste fresh Ceylon tea — it was a lovely and authentic experience. The waterfalls and countryside views along the way were just breathtaking. Overall, the tour was peaceful, refreshing, and perfect for nature lovers. A great mix of scenery, culture, and relaxation. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sri Lanka!

Amazing tour

This Nuwara Eliya day trip was honestly one of the coolest experiences of our trip! The drive itself was a whole vibe—mountains, mist, waterfalls… felt like a movie Once we reached Nuwara Eliya, the weather was sooo nice and cold (finally a break from Colombo heat 😅). We stopped at Gregory Lake which was super chill, perfect for pics and just relaxing. The Post Office spot was cute and aesthetic, definitely Instagram-worthy The tea plantation visit was a highlight walking through those green fields just hits different. Also, the farm visit was fun and something different from the usual tourist stuff. Big shoutout to our driver—super friendly, patient, and didn’t rush us at all. Everything was smooth, no stress, just good vibes all day. Yeah it’s a long day, but 100% worth it. If you want a mix of nature, cool weather, and amazing views, just book it—you won’t regret it

Review – Nuwara Eliya Sightseeing Trip (via Viator)

Review – Nuwara Eliya Sightseeing Trip (via Viator) We were assigned a low-powered, entry-level vehicle (Suzuki Every) for a 400 km round trip through hilly terrain, which was not suitable for such a journey. With four people on board (two drivers and two passengers), the vehicle struggled significantly on inclines and felt unstable at times. The maximum speed uphill was around 20 km/h, making the journey extremely slow and tiring. It took nearly 6 hours to reach our destination (including a breakfast stop) and another 6 hours to return (with a lunch break). Much of the drive was bumpy, and the cramped seating made the 12-hour journey quite uncomfortable, especially on such challenging roads. It also felt like the operator prioritized cost optimization over passenger comfort, as the vehicle provided did not match the nature or distance of the trip and did not seem commensurate with the price charged. That said, the two drivers did their best to accommodate us and ensure comfort wherever possible, which was the only positive aspect of the experience.
