If you're looking for a stress-free adventure, this is the perfect choice. The snorkeling locations were beautiful, the island scenery was unforgettable, and the team was professional and caring throughout the day. We would happily book this tour again!
Traveling on a private tour made a huge difference. There was no rush, and we could enjoy every stop at our own pace. The guide was knowledgeable, the boat ride was smooth, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations.
The underwater scenery was amazing, and we even spotted plenty of tropical fish. After snorkeling, the island tour offered stunning landscapes and fantastic photo opportunities. This was definitely one of the highlights of our Bali vacation.
Everything was well organized from hotel pickup to the return trip. The private boat was comfortable, and the snorkeling equipment was in great condition. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always made sure we were safe
Our private Nusa Penida tour was worth every minute. The snorkeling spots were beautiful with crystal-clear water and colorful fish. The island views were breathtaking, and the guide made everything easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended!
First of all, the positive: Taxi Ubud to Sanur and back was punctual and a very good driver. Communication with tour operator digital great. Display attraction: “ Scope of services” means afternoon excursion and “that’s what awaits them” in the morning. On the way to Nusa Penida we had booked the so-called VIP seats on upper deck. There you sit with eight men like in a sardine can, the seats much too narrow and too narrow, smaller than on the plane and a small can. Coke is ripped off with 50,000 IDR pure tourism. Then we waited 1 hour or more for the snorkel tour boats. The snorkel tour should go from 9:30 to 11:45, actually took place from 10:30 to 11:45, a pure rush from spot to spot. Waves too strong to snorkel, plenty of water swallowed, little seen. Water to drink half a liter. Towels dispensed for showering only after boat tour. Lunch 40 minutes drive to the restaurant, instead of in a nice place in a tourist hangouts, rather mediocre and expensive. The included food simple to inedible. 2 totally crowded spots visited on Nusa Penida (duration 10 min each), otherwise 4 hours in the car and had been shaken up, guide spoke no English and thus no word with us. The return trip by public boat has touched down all over the crown. We had sat down this time and because the waves were so big, all the windows were closed, there was hardly any oxygen and it was about 45° warm. It was pure refreshment when we were allowed to leave the boat 45 minutes later.
In the morning we toured the island with a private guide who was excellent. He took us to some beautiful sites, and was happy to answer all our questions about Balinese culture. He was an excellent driver even on some challenging roads, and was also great at ensuring we got good photos. We were surprised to learn that the snorkelling segment in the afternoon was also on a private boat. We were embarrassed at first to be just two people on a boat, but were soon very grateful as the seas were very choppy and we got incredibly seasick. We managed to enjoy some snorkelling with excellent coral, fish and turtles in the quieter bays with extremely clear water, but the manta Bay site was in the open ocean and quite rough, so I would suggest you are a strong swimmer if it's not a calm day. Even though our weak stomachs dampened the day, we could see the tour was very well run, everything was provided, and all staff involved helped us to enjoy our time as much as possible. The transfers to and from hotel and ports were also well organised to ensure we never got lost. We felt very well taken care of. I would say this is a very professional and well organised tour where you will have a wonderful experience with just your small group - provided you don't get seasick! That's our mistake, but lesson learned.
