The Jantar Mantar monument of Jaipur is a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments, built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh. It features the world’s largest stone sundial and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is the largest stone astronomical observatory in the world and this feature makes it, a special destination for a traveller.
The Hawa Mahal, the most famous landmark of Jaipur, the palace of winds built by Sawai Pratap Singh was actually planned for the royal household to have a look at the everyday life of the city. The palace has tier upon tier of curved arch surmounting fairy casements with “jali” – latticework screens.
The Jal Mahal, the water palace that is situated in the midst of the beautiful Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur City. Jal Mahal is an exceptional structure of the Rajput culture. The palace and the lake around it were renovated and enlarged in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber. A wonderful five storied building built in red sandstone.
Albert Hall Museum is the oldest museum of the state and functions as the state museum of Rajasthan. The building is situated in Ram Niwas garden outside the city wall opposite New gate and is a fine example of Indo-Saracenic architecture. It is also called the Government Central Museum.
The Royal Gaitor Tumbas is exactly as it sounds- a tomb for many maharajas. Some of the maharajas include Pratap Singh, Madho Singh II, and Jai Singh II. A peaceful and not so famous spot among tourists. This place is tombs of many Kings from Jaipur royal dynasty and they are built beautifully
Amer Town, located near Jaipur, is a historic gem known for Rajput Fort and Palace, a stunning example of Rajput architecture. Once the capital of the Rajput rulers of Amber, it offers a rich blend of culture, history, and beauty.
Panna Meena Stepwell is a stunning 16th-century stepwell known for its unique architectural design. With its symmetrical staircases and intricate carvings, it served as a water reservoir and a place for locals to gather. It's a peaceful and picturesque site to visit.

Great guide. Spent the day with Mustak who was knowledgeable and energetic. Had a wonderful day and saw so much of Jaipur. The guide was flexible to show us more or customize and was an expert I highly recommend. Raees was our driver who was excellent and the Tuk tuk experience was super fun!

First time in Jaipur and honestly the whole experience was amazing and unforgettable. We did a day trip in a tuk-tuk with Raees, and it was the best experience we had with a guide throughout our entire trip! We did the Old City Tour : 1. Royal gettor 2. Jal mehal 3. Amer Fort (longue visit) 4. Step well 5. Elephant village 🐘 6. Textile factory visit We had the time to take pictures, appreciated the amazing visit sites and buy souvenirs. We went on a day tour with Raees and he was knowledgeable, trustworthy and great fun. He customised our day because we wanted to see Amer Fort too and we even managed to get some tuk tuk driving in. Seeing Jaipur this way was great value for money and a dive into an authentic Indian experience for a day. Would definitely recommend!
Took the tuk tuk for a day, Ashu was informative and polite. Took us through to all the good spots in the city. Overall it is a good option to quickly get around the city and cover popular spots in a day.
