We are a family of 6 ranging in age from 18-60. We could not have asked for a better guide than Jacky. Of course he was full of knowledge about the history and modern day life in Hong Kong, and we definitely tested him! But even more important for us, he connected to each one of us, welcoming our personal questions and opinions, and always seeming to provide a thoughtful and thorough response... I don't know many people who can do that equally well with an 18 year old and a 60 year old. His itinerary was a perfect balance of all we hoped to learn and understand about Hong Kong, including the history, government, economy, architecture, "natives," ex-pats, "neighbors," education, military, nightlife, culture and food. Jacky has a great, dry sense of humor, and a very likeable disposition. We all genuinely enjoyed spending time with him and all walked away feeling very knowledgeable about a world we previously knew nothing about.
We spent a few hours with our guide, Jacky, walking around Hong Kong, learning about its culture, talking about politics and current matters happening in HK. We took the bus, the metro, the ding ding and had a very nice time with Jacky. We visited the Victororia’s peak, the mid level escalators, the financial center, Man mo temple, Aberdeen, etc. We were very lucky too because the weather was perfect! Clear and sunny day!!! This tour is highly recommended for people that haven’t visited hong kong before. Jacky is fun, is well informed and speaks perfect english.
My husband and I were in Hong Kong for the first time. It was mostly a work trip, so we only had one day to really see the city together. Jackie gave us a wonderful overview of the city. We covered so much ground during our 4 hour tour. We learned a lot about the history of Hong Kong, tried some traditional food, explored the wet markets, and visited a fishing village. Jackie also gave me some great tips on things to do during the rest of our stay in Hong Kong, and offered his number for me to call for ideas and tips. It was a perfect tour.
This was an amazing tour! The guide was knowledgeable and gave amazing insight on n the culture and history of Hong Kong!
