8.30am: Pick up at your hotel's lobby for driving east to Halong Bay. Get on your boat in Tuan Chau Island. Start your cruising trip into the Natural World Heritage. Witness the tranquil beauty and breathtaking scenery from the decks of a traditional boat. Gliding through the gin-clear waters of the bay. See tiny islands dotted with rock arches, sheer cliffs, innumerable white sand beaches and peaceful coves. Like sculpted cartoon characters, these limestone islands have fanciful names: Incense Burner, Stone Dog and Fighting Chickens (the symbol of Halong Bay). Stopping for the most beautiful caves named Thien Cung (Heaven Palace Grotto). Climbing steep stairs to explore huge chambers adorned with stalactites and stalagmites of all kinds. Enjoy this relaxing cruise through the fairyland-like landscape. Lunch is served on the boat while visiting the bay. Stop en-route at a souvenir shop for short break You will finish your trip in Hanoi at about 7.00pm

We had an amazing twi days in Halong Bay with the best English talking guide Oanh. She cared for everything we adked for! Everything was perfect! We really enjoyed the experience. I would definitely book woth Asian way and travel and Oanh again!

This was the most beautiful tour on my 16 day tour of the major cities of Vietnam. The area is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE PROTECTED wonder of nature. We did the tour via overnight cruise in the most luxurious ship called the Verdure Lotus 🪷 Cruises with beautiful crew on board we enjoyed the intimacy of cruise the food the karaoke 🎤 the sight seeing on small speed boat to the surrounding mountains and the Tai Chi in the morning by sunrise on the cruise.

Giving it three stars because of the sites we saw, and the drive to Halong Bay. Our guide didn’t really have a lot of information about the places we visited. He also made us look at parts of the tour ourselves. At one point he claimed he needed to take pictures of our passport to board the boat which seemed completely inaccurate. Our tour also ended 4 hours early (4pm at the hotel vs 8pm as the website claims.) Overall, better expectations can be set. There are tours that do a lot more for a lot less money.

Cruising along Halong Bay plus other activities such kayaking, Mua Cave tour and Vietnamese cooking lessons are well organized and a lot fun. All meals provided are delicious. It may be better to add more seafoods for dinner. Onboard services were excellent. We truly enjoyed the 3-days 2 nights cruises in Halong Bay!

We just returned from a two-week trip to Vietnam through Asianway Travel. We blend our need for beach time with our desire for cultural and historical tourism. As this is a customized trip, we have our driver and guide. During our scheduled sightseeing, we never had to worry about transportation, tickets to sites or activities, lodging, or meals. Everything was handled on our behalf. Our cuisine, restaurant, and accommodations are top-notch!
