Despite some unexpected challenges with Ramadan-adjusted temple opening times and a few driver hiccups, Yohana handled everything with professionalism and positivity, adapting smoothly so the day stayed enjoyable and stress-free. His kindness, politeness, and attentiveness made me feel well cared for and his extensive explanations brought the temples to life—I would have missed so many incredible details if I was by myself. Dendera quickly became one of my absolute favorite sites in Egypt, and the sunset felucca ride on the Nile he arranged was the special ending. Booked only the day before, Nice Tours got back to us almost immediately to confirm arrangements, which was very welcome. We were met exactly on time by our guide Gabriel and given water and snacks for the private car journey. During the 1:15 drive to Dendarah, Gabriel was enthusiastic to talk about ancient and modern Egypt, which was really interesting. His tour of Dendarah Temple was excellent. He is clearly very well read and highly experienced; far and away the best tour guide we have had in Luxor. We actually overran the prescribed time by asking questions, but that was never a problem for him. His enthusiasm for his subject is infectious! We found when we got back to the hotel wifi that Nice Tours had checked to see if we had met our guide, which further booked my trust in the company, so we will no doubt use them again. I'd have no reservations in recommending them, and particularly Gabriel, to a friend.
