Meet your guide in front of Frankfurt Tourist Information Römer, Römerberg 27, 60311 Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Please do not enter the building, it is only a meeting point and the staff is not informed about the tour.
Your Private Guide will host a fun and entertaining tasting of popular, regional and craft beers from major breweries as well as independent brewpubs from Frankfurt and different regions of Germany. The guide will teach you about the characteristics of each of the served beers and share interesting facts about the brewing tradition and the Reinheitsgebot purity law in Germany. This tour can be a perfect way to celebrate a birthday or a bachelor party as you won't be bored for one second! Since this is a private tour, we can also tailor the whole experience to your needs and interests. You will also be served traditional German appetizers, including hot starters and snacks on this tour so you can join in even on an empty stomach. We had a great time with George. Had a great tour around the town, and it was curated to our personal taste. It was a one of a kind experience. It was like hanging out with an old friend! I would highly recommend this tour.
Having traveled the world - I have to say George was the best guide we ever had. He was professional and knowledgable and just fun and so gracious. Words don’t exist to say how great he was. The only issue was your meeting point for this tour. A disaster to walk all the way from our hotel to the other side of the river and then only to come back across. Apparently he has voiced this concern as well and it hasn’t changed. Perhaps more options for meeting points would solve that. But that’s ok the operator and not the guide.

My wife, adult daughter, and I took this private, 5pm tour of Frankfurt Old Town and German Beer tasting with Marcela on our first evening in Frankfurt. I HIGHLY recommend this tour, especially as a first activity for someone new to Frankfurt. I also HIGHLY recommend Marcela. We met her at the Jazz Cafe on the south side of the river. We walked across the old bridge and into Old Town. Marcela provided really interesting facts in a fun and engaging way. We made a few stops at some biergartens and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience, which really helped us orient to Frankfurt and where we wanted to go back to eat, drink, and be merry! Thank you Marcela for an amazing time!
