Private Full-Day Tour to Iskandarkul

Our driver was super nice. He gave us a very nice trip and even stopped to buy us some Qurutob. Highly recommended!

It was a good tour. Driver arrived on time and on the way shared lots of history information about local places. Lakes Zmeinoe & Iskandekul look magniffisent, waterfall is powerful with constant rainbow in the air. Many picturesque views on the way with opportunities to touch the snow. Need to mention, that my driver had good skills for photography👍🏻 On the way to the lake we made a stop and driver bought some local snacks from market to try However, there are some lowsides: 1) Most of the excursion you spend in the roaf (3hrs there and 3 hrs back). So I find the tour cost overpriced, considering lunch is not included too. 2) there is a security control on the entrance to the lake, so to low down the fee I had to play spy games pretending local. Fine with me but someone can find it disturbing Overall, I can put this tour solid 4* and 0 5 point on top cause driver's efforts to make it better

The drive to the lake was one of the best I’ve done. It was a great day for it and Dilik the guide was super knowledgeable and a guy I would be friends with back home.

We did an amazing day trip to Iskandarkul lake from Dushanbe. Driver was friendly, gave us interesting information, and was a very safe driver. We did a hike to a waterfall, enjoyed walking parts of the lake, and took in the stunning views. After we returned to the city. Highly recommend this day trip. Thank you Oriz for organizing.

Had a great day in early winter, experienced the amazing snow fall en route to the lake and back to Dushanbee. Enjoying the wonderful view at the lake. Also had a driver who was quite respectful, friendly and a good photographer.

I went on this tour solo and my expectations were surpassed. Oriz was very professional and an excellent guide. He spoke fluent English so he taught me a lot about Tajikistan. Also, the drive felt much faster/shorter than what I expected. The views on the road and at the lake were amazing. This is must-do tour for anyone visiting Dushanbe

We had an experienced driver who also told us history of Tajikistan and the area we were driving to. It is a long drive (almost 3 hours) and then a short visit to take photos before driving back. No lunch stop and the only bathroom stop was when we arrived at the lake to take some photos. There was no opportunity to hike. If you are looking for a trip to see an area with the mountains and other villages it is a good day.

The trip was fantastic. Everything was according to the schedule. The tour guide Dilik was in front of the hotel with the driver even before 9:00 with a new and clean car. The driver safely drove us through the Tajikistani traffic rollercoaster (including the infamous "tunnel od death" - Anzob Tunnel) and we reached the lake, took a stroll on the beaches, had lunch in the restaurant and hiked to the waterfall and back. Then a ride to Dushanbe with obligatory car wash stop to remove the dirt and dust before entering the city.
