Rabbi is a wise young Bangladeshi guide who gives a view of current society and past historical importance.

This itinerary is a great way of understanding the current needs of the Bangladeshi people versus the history of the country. The multifaceted tour is amazing and it has been a highlight of my trip.

Fab Fab Day from Start to Finish

We had an incredible day out with Ms. Lotus, our guide, and Mr. Shahid, our driver. Ms. Lotus provided knowledgeable history at each location and answered all of our questions. We felt safe at all the stops and Mr. Shahid expertly navigated the traffic. Our tour cost covered all admission fees and lunch, as advertised in the listing. We had options for lunch including western food, biryani, and traditional Bengali food. We opted for the Bengali food and very much enjoyed it. My favorite parts of the tour were the Kawran Market, our rickshaw ride through the Old Dhaka streets, and the Shipyard but the entire day out was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this tour to a friend.

Operator response

An Unforgettable Journey Through Dhaka and the rest of Bangladesh!

I was able to go on IRB Tours' Private Full Day Tour of Dhaka City while I was there on a long work trip. I just want to start by saying that Rabbi and Lotus are by far the best tour guides I have had in a long time. These two people had me fully immersed in Bandgladesh and Dhaka's history and culture. They were knowledgeable and incredibly passionate about the city. They shared amazing facts about each landmark we went to. For me the best parts of the tour were the campus of Dhaka University, the stunning Lalbagh Fort, and the streets of Old Dhaka. A lot of other historical sites, local markets, and amazing food stops were all included in the itinerary as well. Speaking of food, it was a treat to have the opportunity to try real Bangladeshi food! They took me to a restaurant that was a hidden gem, and we ate a lot of delicious food. The customized experience was what really made this tour unique. I actually took five tours with these two and IRB, and I thoroughly enjoyed each one. They allowed for flexibility in our schedule, and I appreciated the opportunity to ask questions and have conversations about the local culture and lifestyle. I highly recommend IRB Tours. Thanks, Rabbi and Lotus, I will be back for more tours with you guys!!!

Simply unforgettable

This city tour was simply unforgettable. We had a full day of learning about history and culture at various wonderful mosques, churches, temples and many other sites. We learned quite a bit about everyday life in Dhaka, had a tasty lunch at a restaurant, and talked and laughed a lot together with Rabbi, our friendly and knowledgeable guide. This was a full day packed with value. If I go to Dhaka again, I will take this tour again.
