Pick-up Gardone di Sotto
Navigation to the Gulf of Salò, arrival in the wonderful basin to disembark and stop here for a coffee / aperitif on the lake front
281/5000 We leave from the port of Salò in the direction of the Isola del Garda, Villa Borghese of the Isola del Garda will rise, a majestic Venetian neo-Gothic villa, full of fascinating details, immersed in a green lung of Italian gardens, well-kept and with refined products.
After completing the tour of the Island of Garda we will pass in front of the Island of San Biagio called the Island of the rabbits
Passage near the Rocca di Manerba, a natural reserve that rises from the water level, a suggestive and majestic panorama
Navigation to Sirmione and arrival in front of the Scaliger Castle, at the gates of the historic center for a lunch stop and visit of the Borgo. Leaving after the break we will pass in front of the Grotto of Catullus, Jamaica beach, the Baths of Aquaria and the sulphurous spring, Villa Maria Callas in the direction of the Venetian coast of the lower Grada
Arriving from Sirmione, we will skirt Lazise which has a village protected by the walls of the wonderful Scaliger Castle
Passage from the lakeside of Bardolino and arrival at the port to disembark. Here you can walk on the most popular street of the lake for its colorful sunsets and the lively and cheerful center of the city
After the stop in Bardolino, we will pass by the Gulf of Garda, arriving in front of the famous Villa Canossa, located at the foot of Monte Baldo, a historic villa dating back to the eighteenth century belonging to the Marquises Canossa
Then pass by the picturesque and renowned Punta San Vigilio, with its crystal clear waters and much loved for a dip during boat tours
The passage from the historic Villas of Fasano is a must to admire the renowned structures overlooking the lake that embellish the crossing, leaving behind a suggestive setting before the end of the tour
Torre San Marco is an essential stop before landing, the arrival is expected at sunset, which colors the background behind the tower and leaves you breathless
Return to the Port of Gardone di Sotto for final drop-off

Four of us chartered a private hire with Consolini Boats, based in Gardone Riviera, for a day out on Lake Garda in May 2025. The business is family run with 30 years experience of taking care of visitors. Larry was our expert guide in our luxurious boat. We opted for a tour of the mid and northern part of the lake, which is more interesting and dramatic, compared to the southern end of the lake. Larry was incredibly knowledgeable and informed regarding everything about the lake: history, geology, geography and the natural history of the area. His knowledge made our trip informative, interesting and great fun. The lake and surrounding landscape are stunning. Larry recommended the best route to take, together with where to stop off for coffee and lunch. We had an incredibly memorable day. Many thanks to Consolini Boats and Larry. My partner and I had a beautiful day out on the lake. Our Captain, Larry, greeted us at Limone Sul Garda and we began our tour heading south around the west coast of the lake. His wealth of knowledge is astounding. Informing us of everything from the precious marble in the local and not so local areas, dates of historical events, local vips past and present and how the landscape was shaped. We stopped for refreshments and lunch throughout the tour, spots recommended by Captain Larry, not at all disappointed. Really fun day out, would recommend to anyone.
