Your full-day private sightseeing tour of Jodhpur city, begins with pickup at your local Jodhpur hotel, Jodhpur Airport (JDH), Jodhpur Junction Railway Station, or Bus Station, by your English-speaking driver. Relax in the comfort of a private air-conditioned vehicle as you head to your first stop Mehrangarh Fort, an important historical landmark and a popular Jodhpur attraction. You will find numerous beautiful palaces, galleries, ancient temples, and a museum inside the complex
Later you’ll visit Jaswant Thada, a 19th-century royal cenotaph. In addition to the monument, it also features spectacular gardens.
Finally, visit another popular landmark in Jodhpur - Umaid Bhawan Palace. This elegant palace was built during the 20th century in order to provide employment for 3,000 residents of Jodhpur, and has recently been transformed into a 5-star hotel.
After your city tour, you’ll visit the Bishnoi Villages where you might spot black bucks, chinkara, blue bulls, desert foxes, hares or partridges. During September and March, sometimes you can even witness thousands of migratory demoiselle cranes near the Guda Lake. The experience was great from start to finish. My driver/guide Rey was polite, fun, charming, spoke very good and understandable English and had a very good knowledge of the things he was showing and explaining. He was always punctual, caring, asking is I was thirsty or if it was too hot/cold on the car. The cat was clean and fresh. I honestly suggest to book this tour if you are coming to Jodhpur.

This tour is packed full of different sights and activities. In the morning, our friendly guide and driver, Ray, drove us to Jaswant Thada, Mehrangarh Fort and Umaid Bhawan Palace. He also helped us order some delicious traditional Rajastani snacks and took us to the Jungle Market where we could browse local antiques and beautiful handwoven textiles. In the afternoon, Ray drove us out to the Bishnpi villages to enjoy demonstrations of clay pot making, fabric printing, weaving and an opium ceremony. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch at a Bishnoi Cooperative. We had a great day that was interesting and well-paced. Ray was very helpful and spoke excellent English. Please note, this tour does not include entrance into any monuments or a guided tour of these monuments. That has to be paid for additionally by the passengers!

Ray was an excellent driver and a very informative and knowledgeable tour guide. His explanation of the various craft and markets was very good. He was also very friendly and patient and I would recommend him to anyone traveling in Jodhpur.

With all of the tours available, I am really happy that I chose to spend my day in Jodhpur with Ritesh (aka Ray) as my tour guide. I had an awesome day of touring the city and I was felt like I was able to see everything that I wanted to without ever feeling rushed. Ray picked me up on time from my hotel, explained how the day was going to go, and then took me right to the ticket booth for each stop on my tour. Ray is very knowledgeable on the city and the monuments, and his English is excellent. I appreciated that Ray was always on time picking me up from the various sites and he made it very easy to find him amongst the sea of taxis, tuk tuks, and tourists. This is a plus for solo travelers as it brings a sense of comfort when touring on your own!

I took my parents to Jodhpur this 18th jan 2019 and I am so glad I have booked this trip through Tripadvisor. The Driver cum guide cum friend Ritesh Tak made our day. He was very polite , kind and experienced in his field and we enjoyed things we didn’t know we would do . I made a clay pot while doing the village tour. Parents just loved it overall and I am planning to book again when we come to visit Rajasthan again with friends
