Meet your local guide from Lyon Private Tour and discover all the secrets of the Lyonnaise cuisine. This tour will feed your body as well as your mind, with three tasting breaks. First part of the tour will be a general explanation of the local gastronomy, the history of the famous Lyon’s mother and all the local specialties. Then we’ll start to wander in the alleys of the Halles, discovering amazing artisans that makes the Lyon the world capital of gastronomy. Along the way, we’ll have three tasting breaks at one of the ‘Meilleurs ouvriers de France’ (best craftsmen of France) which is a unique and prestigious award according to category of trades in a contest among professionals. Three tasting breaks are included in this tour. It's not as hearty as dinner, but if you book this tour after lunch, I'd still recommend saving some room!

Amazing tour! Jeremy was simply great, so much knowledge and super fun. Wonderful information about the history, food, Paul Bocuse and the Mères Lyonnaises! Yummy tastings and overall a perfect experience!
Just because aviator booked the tour and charges for it. There is no guarantee the tour will actually happen. Furthermore a pickup does not mean a car will pick you up… it can meet you will be picked by a walking guide and walk miles to your destination.
Is this a joke ? I'm genuinely surprised by your review, as it doesn't reflect what actually happened. You requested the tour to be cancelled and refunded, which we did immediately and without hesitation, despite the considerable effort we made the day before to find available guides and food partners on such short notice. This was a walking food tour in a covered market. Nowhere in the tour description is there mention of a car or private vehicle. "Pickup" simply refers to meeting the guide at a designated location, which is standard practice for walking tours. We're always careful to explain this clearly, and we regret any confusion. That said, it’s important that reviews reflect actual experiences. Since the tour never took place and a full refund was provided, we kindly ask you to reconsider and remove this review, as it’s not a fair representation of our service or the product. Best regards,
What an incredible morning of hearing culinary history at this incredible market. Jérémie set up three delicious tastings from cheeses, sausages, and sweets. Each one accompanied by a glass of wine. Lots of history in this gastro city.
We are a family of 5 with 3 adult childre 26, 24, 20 and booked Jeremie for 3 tours over the Christmas holiday. Since it was Christmas it was difficult to book food tours becuase the shops were all pretty busy for the holiday. Jeremie was able to manage this brilliantly and took us to some great shops in Les Halles where we had some incredible cheeses and chocolates and learned about the foods of this fascinating region. 5 stars!
