Krishna was an excellent chocolate making class instructor. He was attentive to our 3 girls and made the class so fun for them. Plus the chocolate is delicious and you get to take lots of it home with you!
I did this private class with my two preteen-teenagers. They had a great time and the chocolate was great. In my opinion, the class seemed more geared toward adults and was a little more serious than I imagined it would be. After the class, I looked back to the reviews and saw that most people who did the class with children had a female instructor. We had Krishna and he was very knowledgeable- I learned a lot- but I was a little bit stressed out because he was very serious, lots of rules. The guy who did the tasting took himself a little too seriously and was less kind to us- we were trying to have fun after all, and we are not chocolate experts :). Overall, it was fine!
Thank you for your feedback! We’re really glad you and your teenagers enjoyed the experience and the chocolate 😊 Krishna has been leading our classes over the past two years and we always receive excellent feedback about him. We’re sorry if the atmosphere felt a bit strict at times due to the hygiene rules of the workshop, which are required when working with food.
Great class, perfect for families! We loved making chocolate together in the downstairs tasting room.
Thank you, Ashley! We’re so happy to hear that you and your family had a great time with us 😊
I was very excited to find this experience. I personally LOVE chocolate but I also wanted to find something that would engage my kids in Paris. They had walked every where and seen every tourist attraction and this was such a nice change. my kids 13, 10,8 and absolutely LOVED this and when we asked at the end of our trip what was a highlight for you this was one of the highlights. Our istructor was so patient with them and kind too. My husband and I got very into the details of the cacao plants and the process of going from the pods off the tree to the chocolate you eat. While our Chocolate set, they had us do a chocolate tasting where you get to taste the interesting and complex flavors they have created. For me, the more exotic the better. They had an award winning curry and sea salt one that is my absolute favorite. At the end we got take our chocolate home with us. It was an insanely hot day in Paris and they were so kind to help us pack the chocolate in cold packs so it would make it back to our hotel without melting. I also had to buy myself a box of their chocolates. So good! I HIGHLY reccomend doing this class.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review 😊 We’re really happy you had such a great time with us!
Great experience - kids (ages 12 and 9) had a blast, sampled and took back a lot of chocolate! The instructor was engaging and explained things well. Would definitely recommend this family activity in Paris!
This was such a fun and different thing to do while in Paris! The whole team was great, but Krishna, the chocolatier, really stood out. He had such a great vibe, kept the energy up, and was super helpful with tips and techniques. He definitely made the experience more fun and something we could actually learn from. While our praline was cooling, we got to taste a range of different chocolates, which was a nice bonus. The host for that part was awesome too—she picked out chocolates based on what each of us liked, which made it feel really personal.
Chocolaterie rue Rivoli under the arcades. Friendly and friendly welcome. We shared some great, exciting moments in the world of EDWART CHOCOLATE. We slipped into the shoes of a chocolate maker by making our Leader chocolate creations with a pleasant team of friendly and passionate PRO "professors" by participating in the private "FUN" workshop. You will come out of this original enriched and for sure "Expert" chocolate experience with recipes, tips and knowledge...
Bonjour, Merci pour ce super retour! Nous sommes enchantés que vous ayez passé un agréable moment en notre compagnie. A bientôt
Lisa was amazing. Our children, who are 6 and 12, along with my husband and I had a wonderful time. The session was fun, entertain and educational. We have friends coming to Paris in the summer and are highly recommending that they do this experience.
Lisa was the best and was so sweet, warm and friendly. She took time to show us the process and definitely got the kids involved. Honestly, I hope we can take a class from her in the future!
Mmmmm chocolate. If you want to learn how to make chocolate covered caramels, sign up for this workshop. My family had a great time learning and tasting our treats. Our class was taught by two American instructors who were a joy to work with. We learned a lot and made delicious treats to take home. We did everything from making the caramel to filling the molds. It was so much fun. They offer workshops for all ages. We even sampled some chocolate before we started.
Thank you so much Kathie! We loved working with you too. Can't wait to see your samples from what you make at home. =) Enjoy the rest of your trip!
