Your journey starts at 10 am from Bangkok city area hotel lobby where you'll meet your English speaking tour guide.
Upon arrival at Chatuchak Weekend Market, you will be amazed at the sheer assortment of stock, regardless of whether a Moroccan light, an antique wooden chest or a couple of vintage Levi's pants. When buying products at Chatuchak, especially 'collectibles', it is savvy to practice a couple of safety measures. Check your merchandise completely to see whether there is any harm, the same number of merchants offer production line rejects. Check your goods thoroughly to see whether there is any damage, as many vendors sell factory rejects. It is recommended that you wear your backpack on the front rather than on your back. Bring enough cash. Most vendors do not accept credit cards, and it can be a long walk to the ATM. At the end of your tour, our guide will return you to the departure point in Bangkok.

Our guide, Whisky, was fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble. He allowed us to take our time and navigated us to whatever we were interested in seeing. The market is overwhelming. Tonnes of original objects over an enormous area.

It was wonderful to have our guide because this market is sooo large and crowded but Mr. Whiskey took us around with ease. We shopped and got some food to bring back to the hotel with us. Definitely would recommend this to everyone!

Our guide didn’t know anything about this market and cut the tour short. We ended up missing a large part of the market

This tour was a good way for our family to get to and from the markets, but not the fun trip with someone who knows it really well that we hoped for. It was great to have an air conditioned car and the driver and guide were very polite and did their best to look after us. It was hampered by the fact that our guide's English really wasn't fluent (although she was v knowledgeable about Bangkok) so it was hard to converse comfortably with her. It was also apparent that she didn't know the market area that well herself so it lacked the insider knowledge and tips that we were hoping for.
