Private Day Trip to Murano Burano and Torcello islands from Venice with a local

Description
You will visit Burano, an island known for its brightly colored houses and traditional lacework, it is such a lovely place that it will put a big smile on your face. If you love clicking pictures and sharing on instagram then this is nothing less than a paradise island for you. You will also visit Murano, which is a collection of seven islets linked by arched bridges. In the year 1291, Venetian glass production was shifted to Murano from the Venice city due to the fear of fire from furnaces within the city premises, hence putting Murano on the world map. You will also visit Torcello which is believed to be where the city of Venice began more than 1,500 years ago. Our fun and entertaining guide will make this a memorable experience for you filled with offbeat sightseeing, visitng local popular hangout places and trying the local food & drinks. It is one of the best experiences to immerse yourself into the rich Venetian culture.

Shaa was a very good guide very polite and professional, caring towards us and attentive
Dear simona_d, thanks a lot for your review and we are glad that you have good time on our tour.
This tour is extremely overpriced! Similar tours are a fraction of the cost. The first question after meeting our guide was have we purchased a ferry pass. For the price we should have a private boat and guide (which is what we thought we were getting based on description and price). Our guide was not Italian and didn’t know much about the history. When asked questions about things he said he did not know or rambled on trying to deflect. I will note that our guide is a resident and allowed us to board the ferry with him on the resident priority lane. He also purchased our ferry tickets after we questioned the price of the tour. I feel we have been scammed and would not recommend this tour for the cost v/s other tours.
Great experience, knowledgeable guide, very accomodating. Very interesting and easy going. We loved the little shops and glass blowing
Lots of walking and riding in boats, but you see a lot of both Murano and Burano and good experiences in a glass blowing facility in Murano. Very pretty buildings in Burano
Sara was amazing!! She had so much knowledge of the history of Venice and provided an amazing tour. I highly recommend her and this tour
