You will be picked up from your hotel (only in Colombo city and Mount Lavinia) or in front of dutch hospital - Colombo 01 by our chauffeur guide at 06:00 am and commence the day tour Dambulla and Sigiriya. You will be reached entrance of the Sigiriya Rock fortress after 3 to 4 hours journey. Then walk to the entrance of the rock and start climbing. You will finish the Sigiriya Rock sightseeing after around 2 hours and thereafter proceed to a local restaurant for lunch. (Your expense) After lunch visit Dambulla Rock cave temple.On completion of Dambulla temple visit transfer back to Colombo and you will be safely dropped at your hotel or at the place where you picked up.

The royal palace on the top of the Sigiriya rock was built by King Kashyapa in the fifth century . The design of the fortress shows the ability of architecture, urban planning and art of the ancient people of Sri Lanka. You can see moats and ramparts which were built around the fortress as a defensive implementation.When you climb around 100 meters high of the rock colourful frescoes can be seen on a cavity of the western side of the rock. There remains about 21 paintings of Sigiriya ladies. On completion of the tour of Sigiriya rock you will be taken to a Local restaurant for lunch(Your Expense). Enjoy the taste of Sri Lankan lunch and then transfer to visit Dambulla Rock cave temple.
Dambulla Rock cave temple (also known as Golden temple) is a world heritage site which was built by king Walagambahu in the first century B.C. The temple complex spread over the five different sizes of caves. In these caves you will see around 50 statues of Lord Buddha and Painting on the ceiling and the wall. On completion of Sigiriya rock fortress tour transfer back to Colombo and you will be safely dropped at your hotel or at the place where you picked up.

Kumar was an amazing driver and we would highly recommend him to anyone. He picked us up on time, and was very knowledgeable during the drive. He made sure the car was a comfortable temperature the entire time and always stopped if needed for bathroom breaks or food. He also went out of his way to show us little things like red bananas and a great local juice place on the way. The tours were also amazing - Kumar made sure we had a knowledge guide that spoke English for Sigiriya, who pointed about a lot of interesting features we would have by passed. And Dambulla was so impressive. We would highly recommend booking this trip and request Kumar!

The trip was customized as per my requirements. Early pickup from airport and drop off to the airport late at night. We had transit from Sri Lanka and wanted to make the most of the one day trip in the island country. Best service offered. The driver Mr Rasika is very efficient and knew the sightseeing and locations well. We had requested for cheap and budget place for lunch and we were taken to restaurant as per our requirement. Rates of OK Lanka tours are very budget friendly with proper care taken on. Highly recommended. We did this tour on 1st March 2019 on our onward journey from India to Seychelles transiting at Sri Lanka
