Then move on to the church of St Serguis and Bacchus where you will see the crypt where Merry, Jesus and Josef the carpenter were hiding during their visit to the region. Then move on to Ben Ezra synagogue that is believed that it is the place where the Pharaoh’s daughter found Moses in the reeds at the Nile River. The last visit it will be to Khan El Khalili Bazaar,

We took this tour with Amir on March 3, 2019. He was very knowledgeable, and gave us enough time to see all that we wanted to see. He asked us about our specific interests, which helped us get the most out of the tour. We saw the highlights of Cairo (with the exception of the Egyptian Museum, which we were going to see on another day). I would highly recommend this tour. Amir and his driver picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel, which was extremely handy. Our tour was just my husband and myself.
On my last day in Egypt, I was lucky enough to have a wonderful time exploring Islamic and Coptic Cairo with Dodo from Cleopatra Tours. In Coptic Cairo, we saw Abu Sirga Church, the Hanging Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue - a lovely, cool break from the hustle and bustle of Cairo city! Moving north, we explored the citadel and visited two mosques (Mohamed Ali Alabaster and Sultan Hassan) and then headed to Tentmaker’s Alley and Khan el-Kalili.. with a couple of bonus stops along the way ;). Massimo helped us organise the day and was very helpful in customizing my itinerary, and quick to respond to any queries. Thanks both for a great day in Cairo!
