Then you will be transported to the Necropolis of Thebes, the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank of Luxor. This ancient necropolis is a must-see for Luxor travelers. There you visit four royal tombs, including the Tomb of Ramses, the Tomb of Horemheb, the Tomb of Merenptah .Valley of the Kings on the West Bank of Luxor.
Tomb of King Ramesses lX was the third pharaoh of the Twentieth Dynasty of the New Kingdom of Ancient Egypt. His name prior to assuming the crown was Amonhirkhopshef. He was the fifth son of Ramesses III and was appointed to the position of the crown prince by the twenty-second year of his father's reign when all four of his elder brothers predeceased his promotion to the crown prince. The tomb has so much colour and details even the ceiling above the sarcophagi with its goddess Nut stretching across space. The sarcophagus is one of the largest in the valley, even though some of the paintings have deteriorated this is one of the most decorated.
In Egyptian mythology, Ptah is the demiurge of Memphis, god of craftsmen and architects. In the or simply in its falcon form of the new deity, it began to be placed in tombs to accompany and protect the dead on their journey to the West of Luxor. Tomb 8, which is located in the Valley of the Kings, was the burial place of the Pharaoh Merneptah and is the model of royal tombs Merneptah was a son of Ramesses II and Queen Isis-Nofret.the tomb was discovered by Howard Carter in 1903. Of course there is a material decrease in the number of lateral rooms, and a dramatic increase in the height of the corridors and rooms. He did away with the jogged axis used since the time of Horemheb and instead built the entire tomb on a single axis. Also, for the first time, the entrance was made considerably wider than earlier tombs.
The tomb of Ramesses III, designated as KV 11, is a complex system in the Valley of the Kings. It has been known since antiquity, the wonderful decorations include colorful painted sunken reliefs featuring the traditional ritual texts (Litany of Ra, Book of Gates, etc) and Ramses before the gods. Unusual here are the secular scenes, in the small side rooms of the entrance corridor, showing foreign tributes, such as highly detailed pottery imported from the Aegean, the royal armoury, boats and, in the last of these side chambers, the blind harpists that gave the tomb one of its alternative names: ‘Tomb of the Harpers.

It was expensive, 150,000 yen for two people in Japanese yen, but I booked this tour because it was explained that there would be no additional cost other than tips, including a Japanese-language guide, airline tickets and admission fees. But the day before, suddenly, Extra €100 for air tickets 80€ surcharge for two people to become a Japanese guide You have been charged. I was told that the reason for adding tickets was that I was slow to reply to my passport number, but I actually didn't notice the email I received the night before at around 21:00 (I was already asleep due to the time difference) and woke up at 4am to reply immediately. I had already given my passport number at the time of booking (TripAdvisor). We had a big fight over this and, to be honest, the impression on Egyptians was bad. In the end, my superiors told me that I should only pay 100 €, but I cancelled it because I could no longer trust them, and **150,000 yen was spent in tears (high school fees)**. To those who are about to make a reservation Reservations are not recommended as this tour company may have staff to deal with fraud. Look at the bad reviews of other tours of this company. Others have written the same way. As a test, ask chatGPT if the tour companies here are safe! Be careful and you'll get it! The guide itself may be good at speaking Japanese, but there is a risk of additional charge trouble if the intermediary is bad. We strongly recommend that you always book with a company with an official national guide licence to avoid any trouble.
Thank you for your review. However, we feel it is necessary to correct several misunderstandings and provide accurate information for future travelers. 1. Delayed Response Caused the Flight Fare Increase We requested your passport confirmation immediately once the airline required it. Your response came many hours after the deadline, which caused the original fare to expire. The €100 surcharge was imposed entirely by the airline, not by our company. Had the information been provided on time, no extra fee would have been charged. 2. Guide Language Upgrade Was Not Included Our tour clearly states that an English-speaking guide is included. A Japanese-speaking guide is an optional service that always comes with an extra cost, and this is the standard across all tour operators in Egypt. It appears there was a misunderstanding on your side, not a mistake from our team. 3. We Offered a Fair Solution Even though the airline surcharge resulted from the delayed reply, we still tried to help by offering you the option to continue the tour by paying only the flight difference, and even waived the guide upgrade fee to support you. You chose to cancel the tour voluntarily. 4. Refund Policy Clearly Communicated According to the platform’s cancellation policy, last-minute cancellations with confirmed flights are non-refundable. This policy is determined by the booking platform, not by us. ⸻ We always strive to provide clear communication and transparent pricing. In this case, the issues resulted from late responses and misunderstandings on the customer’s side, not from any wrongdoing by our company. We welcome all guests who read this to review our many positive experiences and understand that we take professionalism very seriously.
It is exciting to know a culture like it is, the Egyptian culture... If you want to start an adventure you have to visit this place.
It's not a 100, it's a 90. I can't give 100 points because there was a part where I thought 'what kind of', but I am satisfied. If your friends or relatives were going to Luxor, I would recommend this tour. They are well-mannered and hard at work, and they care about a lot of things, and they know the Japanese very well. It's definitely worth the money. I told him to tell the clerk that I was going to a routine restaurant for lunch, but the beer I ordered was lukewarm room temperature, and that if I was going to serve it to the Japanese, it had to be cold. I hope it has been improved for everyone who follows.

Muhammad's guide, who learned Japanese from the Japanese, was the best. He can joke, he cares about things, and I think half of him might be Japanese. They answered anything I didn't mention in the guidebook carefully when I asked them what they were interested in, and they also took me to a souvenir shop, but if I told them properly that I didn't want them, they also told the staff properly, which was a satisfying & safe private tour. He is Muhammad, in the back, in the red hat.

They say Japan is a dangerous country. But you want to be in Egypt before you die, right? If you want to have fun, I highly recommend Muhammad! Muhammad was a Japanese teacher in Egypt and lived in Japan, so he knows about Japan and its customs. Women are particularly problematic in the "toilet" surprisingly, which is quite important when traveling abroad, right? I've researched it at key points, so it's very reassuring. But I think the most important thing is, "Describe the ruins" here is pretty important. The cheapest ones are "English guides," but for example, "I couldn't understand the history class in Japanese, ... am I the only one?" If it becomes English, won't the thinking circuits be broken? What’s more, it’s still enough to attend a class by the famous Japanese professor of Egyptian archaeology, Sakuji Yoshimura, but I think it’s amazing to study even more. I'm from Luxor, I have many friends, and the local information is perfect! Trouble, want to know, listen jang jang d(^_^o), tell me gently anything. If you're in Egypt 🇪🇬, Mohammad's guide is for you!! By the way, during the tour of the ruins, I met a Japanese person living abroad who said, "I should have made him a Japanese guide, 😩" and that Muhammad was good. The explanation is in familiar Japanese!! Yes 😉

In the middle of March I made a bullet trip to Egypt. We booked a short day tour in Luxor, but our guide Mohamed was extremely knowledgeable and guided us from east to west. No matter what I ask, they respond in good Japanese. I was traveling alone, so there was no photographer, but they took a lot of photos! You can have a full day. The driver was kind and polite, I recommend it.

I was totally satisfied to join this tour. I think it is difficult for us to visit all the places in west and east side in Luxor without the guide. The guide knows everything about Luxor. He made us archaeologists. In addition, his hospitality was great. I want to visit again and also I highly recommend this tour.
