Private Day Tour to Gulong Canyon Glass Bridge from Guangzhou

Gulong Canyon is located about 70km from Guangzhou, which is well-known for its Glass Bridge recently. The total 1314-meter glass sky walkway is a wonderful place to view the canyon and waterfall. This day tour will start from Guangzhou and let you walk on the glass walkway to view the green canyon and waterfall. 8:30am-10am depending on your selection, you will be picked up from your centrally located Guangzhou hotel with your namepate, then take about 2-hour car ride to Gulong Canyon. After visiting, you will be transferred back to your Guangzhou hotel where this day tour concludes. Note: there are two booking options. No guide, no meals, no entrance fees are included for TRANSFER ONLY option. The driver speaks only Chinese.

8:30am to 10am depending on your selecion, you will be picked up from your centrally located Guangzhou hotel lobby with your nameplate, then take about 2-hour car ride to Gulong Canyon that is situated in Qingyuan. Upon arrival, you will start to walk on the path up to the Nine-waterfall running from the top of the hill to the pool, creating an impressive picture. Then you will walk on the Glass Walkway(520m) and Glass Bridge(329m) to view the canyon through the glass, then you will get to the Glass UFO Platform(202m), where you will view the wonderful waterfall running from the high mountain to the canyon. The Glass UFO Platform suspends 72 meters in the sky and is inscribed No.1 for its suspension span in the world. Moreover, you will have a later or early lunch depending on your start time. Later, you will be transferred back to your Guangzhou hotel where this day tour concludes.

A good trip for nature lovers, especially for the younger generations who will enjoy the prehistoric noisy creatures . A good workout on the numerous steps up and down. Overall a great day out for singles or entire families.

We had an amazing day. The park is huge and requires a lot of walking so sneakers are a must. WIth the help of our guide we managed to follow the path uphill and got the time to take amazing pictures. When coming down the waterfall we were given the choice of either walking or driving a mini-car downhill. Of course we picked the latter and had so much fun. The trip ends with lunch at a local restaurant. Lunch was plentiful and full of choices but the roasted chicken was the best. Perhaps the best I ever had.

The views were amazing and the guide spoke really good English. That being said, the tour was short since we had to walk fast and the activities were all extra which is not mentioned. Also, the guide was really nice but not really a guide explaining about the place.

About the optional activities like paraglider, cliff swing etc. in the Gulong Canyon, travelers can choose do it or not. We will let the guide talk more with the travelers and adjust pace to suite different group.
Must wear a comfortable shoes, a hat and a bottle of water. It is very hot. We liked the walking on the glass bridge, just don’t look down.

Beautiful Gorge with exciting walks on the glass bridges. Tour guide was friendly and shared information about the gorge and a bit sbout Guangzhou. The reason I gave this rating was because we were picked up in a small car, very cramped with limted leg space, we couldn't stretch our legs, have to endure the 2 over hours to and fro from the destination. Were very stuffy and humid in the car too, air con were very weak. We are very disappointed and didn't enjoy the car ride and journey at all. Not worth what we paid for.
