Itinerary
Portovenere, often referred to as the sixth village of the Cinque Terre, is also considered to be the most beautiful of the coastal villages in the region. With this tall, narrow, brightly coloured houses that line the harbour and the incredible St. Peter’s Church on the cliff side, Portovenere is a sight not to be missed!
With brightly colored houses built vertically into the surrounding hills, Riomaggiore is the second largest of the five villages and is widely known for the excellent diving spots off its coast in the marine protected area that stretches all along the Cinque Terre. Here you will also see where the famous Via del Amore footpath begins, which leads to nearby Manarola.
Manarola is located at the northern end of the Via del Amore and is part of the municipality of Riomaggiore. Known for its wine production, Manarola produces the only dessert wine called Sciacchetrà which is found only in this area. We will pass by slowly to be able to see the village and take photos. There is a speed limit within the Cinque Terre National Park, so this tour has a nice, slow pace to allow you to soak in all the beautiful scenery.
Perched 100 meters high on a cliff, Corniglia is the only one of the towns without a port and has a panoramic terrace from which you can see Manarola and Riomaggiore to the south and Vernazza and Monterosso to the north. We will pass by slowly to be able to see the village and take photos. There is a speed limit within the Cinque Terre National Park, so this tour has a nice, slow pace to allow you to soak in all the beautiful scenery.
Vernazza the smallest of the Cinque Terre, and commonly known as the most charming with a beautiful little port and the Church of Santa Margherita d'Antiochia which stands right on the water. Here you will also see the Torre del Belforte which is located right on the harbour as a protective beacon for the small village. We will pass by slowly to be able to see the village and take photos. There is a speed limit within the Cinque Terre National Park, so this tour has a nice, slow pace to allow you to soak in all the beautiful scenery.
The northernmost village of the Cinque Terre is Monterosso, which is divided into two sides: the historic center and the "new" side called Fegina, with a pedestrian tunnel connecting the two. Monterosso is larger than the other towns and is the only one that offers beach services, making it the most visited of the Cinque Terre. We will pass by slowly to be able to see the village and take photos. There is a speed limit within the Cinque Terre National Park, so this tour has a nice, slow pace to allow you to soak in all the beautiful scenery.

Crew headed by Simone and CIA, no less attentive. Not all of us understood English and/or Spanish very well, but at all times they tried to translate everything - via ChatGPT - to Portuguese. Besides being very attentive to our younger children. See the islands from the sea and exclusively has no price. Very delicate aperitifs and inviting to taste. Sea bath unparalleled!
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! It means so much to us that you felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout the tour. We're especially happy that Simone and the crew were able to make everyone feel included despite the language barrier—and that your children felt comfortable and cared for as well. Creating unforgettable moments on the water is exactly what we strive for, and we're so grateful you chose to share yours with us. We hope to see you and your family again one day!
Wonderful staff, excellent communication. Well worth it, we are so happy we booked this day trip. We took the blue boat to Cinque Terre as a day trip from our cruise ship. Communication was excellent and it was very easy to find the meeting point. Without knowing it we arrived on a holiday so many locals had the day off and the villages were really busy. It was so nice to be on the water and away from the crowds. We were served a delicious spread that included local specialties including amazing mussels. It was such a treat! Would definitely recommend!
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're delighted to hear that everything, from the communication before your tour to your day on the water, made for such an enjoyable experience. We're especially happy that being out on the boat allowed you to experience the beauty of the Cinque Terre while escaping the holiday crowds. It was a pleasure having you on board, and we truly appreciate your recommendation. We hope to welcome you back again someday!
We booked this private boat tour to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and it could not have been more perfect! From start to finish, everything was absolutely unforgettable. The views of the Cinque Terre from the water were breathtaking, Portovenere was magical, and the swimming stops were such a fun highlight. What made it even more special was how thoughtful and accommodating our skipper was. They went above and beyond to make my daughter feel celebrated, which turned the day into a truly once-in-a-lifetime birthday experience. The boat was comfortable, the pace was relaxed, and we had plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and capture beautiful memories together. This was without a doubt the highlight of our trip. If you’re considering it—don’t hesitate. It’s worth every moment, especially for a special occasion. Highly recommend!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re truly honored that you chose to celebrate your daughter’s birthday with us — and even more thrilled to hear that it turned into such a special and unforgettable day. It means a lot to know the views and the swimming were highlights, but even more that our skipper helped make your daughter feel truly celebrated. That’s exactly the kind of experience we hope to create for every guest, and we’re so happy it became a once-in-a-lifetime memory for your family. We appreciate your kind words and recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back for another beautiful day on the water sometime in the future!
We had an amazing experience cruising the Ligurian Sea. Alessandro and Caterina were incredible hosts, extremely professional, friendly and attentive to every detail. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back another time!
Amazing way to see Cinque Terre, by sea! Sara was a fantastic captain and host. Loved swimming in the coves after the tour was over!
