Shy was prompt to pick us up at terminal. She was friendly and knowledgeable as she escorted us to various parts of Buenos Aires. We enjoyed all the time she spent with us and departed with a desire to return to Buenos Aires! Thank you
This was a fantastic tour, which we did with two friends, with Mirta, who was so lovely and so knowledgeable about the city. We were met at the Cruise Terminal, and shown to a comfortable air conditioned minibus. There was plenty of room for the four of us and Mirta and our driver, Mario, successfully negotiated the sometimes hair-raising Buenos Aires traffic! Rather him than us, we decided! We spent time in the Cathedral, at the Casa Rosada, the Cemetery, Boca, and learned so much about Argentine history, and that of the City. There was a good mixture of walking and driving, and we saw many of the main sights. We loved Buenos Aires, and all agreed that without this tour, we would have missed so much. In fact, we could not decide which sight we liked best. We highly recommend this tour, and if you have the lovely, warm-hearted Mirta as your guide, you will not be disappointed. As we were going to be staying another couple of days, after leaving the ship, Mirta showed us on the map, where to go (and where not to go!), indicated what buses to get, and gave us ideas for our visit, which helped us tremendously.
The guide and driver were excellent. We had done a bus trip the previous day which was organised by our ship but like most of these type of trips there were only 4 stops with Evita's grave being one of them and also a visit to the Tango Coffee Shop. On the private trip we were able to adapt the tour to find out more about some things, omit other things, spend longer at the market and visit many other interesting parts of the city with many stops as easy to do with a driver and guide. Will probably do more private trips in future at other locations.
This excursion was excellent! Our guide, Diana, and the driver were very prompt picking us up at the cruise terminal. Diana’s English and knowledge of the city were excellent. We saw so many key sights in 4 hours! There were 4 of us in a very comfortable, air conditioned van. We hope to return to Buenos Aires one day and book another tour to see more of this city!
After an 11 night cruise on the Celebrity Eclipse, we arranged for a private tour of Buenos Aires and drop off at the airport for our 8pm flight. Andres Miguel was professional and accommodating from the beginning. His communication was always timely and effective. The cruise ship did not dock where it was scheduled but after Andres was notified he put our worries at ease and arrived at the new location promptly. Our Tour Guide, Alexandra was professional, flexible and very knowledgeable. She took very good care of us. Our driver did not speak English but Alexandra translated for her because it was a car full of women of course we had a lot to talk about and share. We felt like we were spending the day with friends ( Girl friends: joking, laughing and sharing). I would highly recommend Andres Miguel and his company Bs As Travelers.
What to do when you need to be off the ship by 9am and your flight does not leave until evening? Might I suggest a private day-long sightseeing trip with drop at the airport. We did that through BsAsTravelers. With our guide Mirta and her wonderful driver, we negotiated the traffic and avoided the protestors, visiting a variety of sites about the city with excellent commentary on history and culture. I was particularly interested in visiting the cemetery and she ensured that we spent as much time as we wanted. This is a must see.
