Departure by boat from Bellagio – Varenna - Tremezzo. Departure Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 15:00. Stop to visit Villa del Balbianello + gardens included. During the visit to Villa Balbianello you will be able to discover the beautiful and well-kept botanical garden kept luxuriant by the skill of the Villa's gardeners, inside Villa Balbianello instead you will discover the museum of expeditions which recount the mountaineering exploits of the former owner Guido Monzino, the collections of rare artifacts and precious objects and the wonderful Loggia Durini monumental arched structure decorated by the beautiful Ficus Repens. Duration of the tour total 4 hours (2 hours of navigation with 2 hours of stop for the visit of Villa Balbianello).

Disaster struck and left our boat dead in the water and we ended up driving ourselves to the villa (and made the excellent private guided tour) Richard from Rigamonti tours kept us informed and did his best to sort things out, but boats will be boats. We really enjoyed the villa and can recommend Richard as an operator who really cares about his guests.
