Bhaktapur Durbar Square
Located in the center of Bhaktapur Durbar square the 55 window palace, or Palace of Fifty-Five Windows, was built by King Bhupatindra Malla. Today the 55 Window Palace still stands as Bhaktapur's Royal Palace on ceremonial occasions.
Nyatapola Temple is a 5-storeyed Hindu temple. Meaning is Five Storeys Roofed Temple. Pagoda Style temple located in Bhaktapur, Nepal. The temple was erected by Nepali King Bhupatindra Malla during a 7-month period from late 1702 to 1703
Hidden down shop-lined alleyways leading south from the curving road to Taumadhi Tole, Potters’ Sq is exactly what you would expect – a public square full of potter's wheels and rows of clay pots drying in the sun. Nearby buildings were damaged by the 2015 earthquake, but life – and pottery – in the square continues. This is the centre of Bhaktapur’s ceramic industry, and it’s a fascinating place to wander around. Several shops sell the finished article, and you can see the firing process at the back of the square, which is lined with mud-covered straw kilns
At the east end of Tachupal Tole, the eye-catching Dattatreya Temple was originally built in 1427, supposedly using the timber from a single tree.
Nagarkot is the most popular hill station and Himalayan view point closer to Kathmandu City.

- From Nagarkot, mountain views are only visible when the weather is clear and without clouds.

- Nagarkot is famous for Sunrise or Sunset. During the tour, if you wish to go for sunrise or sunset, please inform in advance and we will provide you the pick up time.

Our day with Shankar from Breakfree Adventures was so enjoyable and interesting. Shankar was waiting for us at our hotel at the appointed time and we set off for a wonderful adventure in the mountains. He shared the history of the area on the way, and we got to enjoy a wonderful forrest hike to reach the suspension bridge. We ate lunch at an atmospheric rooftop restaurant in Bhaktapur before exploring the lovely town. I highly recommend this tour. Our experience was made very special by Shankar. Our guide Shankar was brilliant! When we didn’t get a view of the mountains he gave us another experience through a forest with a swing bridge and swimming holes. Shankar’s knowledge of Nepalese history and culture was extensive and fascinating. Dhanyabad Shankar!

Shankar is the best guide ever. Super knowledgeable and gave me the best background to Hinduism I have ever heard. He sat down to explain the history behind the 3 Durbar squares before we left and it’s featured so I. Pils look out for them. Super flexible cos I was able to add patan to my trip and a short hike to the waterfalls and suspension bridges at Nargakort. Sujan’s driving was perfect and smooth, especially on the mountain road. car was super comfortable. Ask for them.

This was the best guide in KTM. We scheduled tours via our hotel but this was much better. The tour was nice, the storytelling was good and the shopping was better. Probably the best area in KTM

Couldn’t recommend this tour enough, Shankar was incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and history of Nepal and we learnt so much! He went above and beyond to make the tour special and we felt really well looked after on this private tour. The scenic views from Nagarkot were amazing and we got a really good sense of life outside of Kathmandu. The history and beautiful buildings of Bhaktapur were equally unforgettable, with beautiful architecture and rich history brought to life through the stories and insights Shankar shared as we explored. I joined the Nagarkot tour. Razz was my tour guide and Sujan drove us around. The ride was comfortable and I got to visit different sites at Nagarkot like the suspension bridge, Buddha Peace Park and the famous view point. There was a little bit of rain but the weather was comfortable and cool. Razz was keen and friendly and shared much information about Nepal and Buddhism. The tour was really enjoyable and I highly recommend it.
