While sipping your delicious drinks your guide will tell you about how these beverages evolved before taking you to a final spot. A basilica doesn't seem like an appropriate meeting point for a night out but for us, it's the perfect place to start! As you'll discover later on, Catalans can get a little wild when they party, including monks and nuns. After an introduction into Barcelona's bizarre traditions we'll head to the first stop on our adventure.
As Barcelona's former red light district, El Born is full of forbidden, scandalous history to uncover. Your guide will fill you in on the secrets of spotting a 14th century brothel and tell you other legends about the sex culture of the city. Afterwards, we'll head to a graveyard for a bit of paranormal activity before visiting some more spots where we'll try Spanish vermouth, cava sangria, and a centuries-old shot native to Barcelona.
Your guide will lead you through the winding streets of Barcelona's oldest neighbourhood before bringing you to a modern bar for a bit of music. Here you'll have a surprise cocktail. But when the tour is over it doesn't mean the fun has to stop. You can continue the night with your newfound friends!

We loved the drunk history tour with Rolene! We had a small group of 7 people and although the group started off a little reserved, everyone became fast friends! Rolene took us to several bars and she was super knowledgeable about the El Born neighborhood and its many bars and restaurants. She told some fun & naughty stories and anecdotes about the culture and traditions of Barcelona. Our tour included several traditional drinks and a stop at a karoke bar where our group made enough of a commotion that many people wandered in from outside and the bar was very crowded when we left. The tour ended in a fun speakeasy nightclub. We hated saying goodbye to our new friends at the end of the evening!

We had an excellent time on the Barcelona Drunken History Tour. Our guide Vanesa made sure everyone enjoyed themselves and looked out for everyone. The bars and drinks were great and we ended up in a Karaoke bar at the end of the night which was very lively. Great way to explore the city!
