The Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, commonly referred to as Como Cathedral, was built over the course of almost four centuries, starting in 1396 with the first design, modified several times, and ending with the erection of the dome in 1740.
The Broletto is one of the oldest buildings in the city, nestled between the magnificent façade of the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta on the right, and the Torre Civica on the left.
Bellagio is one of the most internationally renowned tourist resorts, nicknamed 'the pearl of the lake'. But what makes it so special? First of all, its strategic location was perfect in the past to control a large part of the lake, which, as you know, is shaped like an inverted Y. The promontory on which Bellagio stands, culminating in Punta Frangivento, is the exact point of separation of the Como and Lecco branches.
The beautiful town of Cernobbio is very famous for two buildings in particular: Villa d'Este, one of the most prestigious hotels in the world, frequented since the end of the 19th century by illustrious personalities, and Villa Erba, which was also inhabited by the famous Italian film director Luchino Visconti, whose rooms can currently only be visited by appointment.
The historic village of Lenno, which is part of the municipality of Tremezzina, overlooks an area of the lakefront known as the Tremezzina Riviera or Rivieria of the Azaleas, a stretch of coastline along which are reflected some of the most beautiful historic villas around the lake.

I was for a nice tour of Lake Como by motorcycle and I must say that with TravelMate it was really interesting to be able to hear news, information and curiosities of the various locations on the lake, such as Varenna, Lenno, Bellagio and of course Como itself. I highly recommend it!

Dear Jon, we believe that your review is not fair. As you know we answered immediately (in 2 minutes) after your request of support. We wrote what you have bought as it seemed you were not aware that you bought a audioguide app of Lake Como and we suggested to check your Viator voucher with the instruction. We also saw you were able to activate the app and we haven't received any other support request from your side. For this reason we believe your review is not fair and we kindly ask you to cancel it or update it. It would be really appreciated as we have helped you immediately. Thanks so much for your understanding. Best regards
