Appleton Estate Rum Tour plus the Pelican Bar is an exciting tour package. Take a 2-hour guided tour of the Appleton Estate Rum Factory and then take a trip to the Pelican Bar for much needed relaxation and fun swimming in the shallow water on the sand bank, sunbathing.

Itinerary
Travelers get a 2 hours guided tour of the estate with stops at the Molasses station, the History station, the sugar cane juice station, to sample these by-products of sugar cane. They will do a tour of the factory to see the process, a tour of the aging house and watch a short documentary of the estate and the rum making process.
Travelers get a 10 minutes boat ride out to the Pelican Bar on a sand bank in the sea. Here they relax, sunbathe, swim, drink Bear and do absolutely nothing. Just chill.

We had such an amazing time on this tour! Account to spend all day doing this excursion if you are staying in Montego Bay. Its a 2 and 1/2 hour drive there and back. Our excursions guide Patrick was amazing, couldn’t have asked for anyone better. If you enjoy Rum Appleton is the place for you! Such a lovely company that takes care of their employees and they have a great facility! The pelican bar was also a great experience. They only take cash and there are no toilets there so keep that in mind. Another side note though is fees are not included. So you do have to pay $35 per person to tour Appleton which includes a complimentary drink and tasting and $20 per person for the boat ride to the pelican bar. But if you have a full day free I do recommend this excursion!
