The experience was great overall, our tour guide is amazing, he’s very patient with us. Nice tour and nice guide. I would recommend this tour 100%, you won’t regret it.
The driver was great and the sites were good. However, roads were shut down and we had to wait for an hour for our driver to pick us up after the Lincoln Memorial. So our tour was cut short. Would like to request a partial refund.
Sorry to hear about the wait . We did inform all our customers regarding street blockades and the unability to reach certain memorials due to the preparation for the 250th 4th of July . These were things beyond our control, hence the wait .

I thought I had signed for a guided tour - where we had a guide who would show us various sites and tell us about them. This is why it was advertised as "private and personalized tour". But all we had was a driver who took us to various sites, dropped us off and picked us up again. The problem was made worse by the fact that many locations were cordoned off for the july 4th holiday and we couldn't even get close to the sites. As a result, we would attempt to drive to a site of interest but were denied access and turned away. It would seem that a local tour company would know about this and 1) telll us in advance and 2) notify the driver so he didn't need to stumble around town bouncing off inaccessible sites.
Hi, I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience. As you mentioned there was nothing the driver could have done about all the sites being closed and being turned around for the 4th of July celebration. We had a few of these issues and customers generally were very understanding. Please keep in mind this is a private tour and not necessarily a guided one We take people to all the main highlights of Washington DC In regards to monuments and memorials. The driver does give out some information as he goes along his route about the town, memorial and monuments. Now if a request for a tour guide is made we do provide that at an extra cost.

Maaz was wonderful. We were able to get out at multiple locations and it was so nice to return to a cool car during this awful heatwave. He was able to get around the closed roads with little difficulty. This was the first time we have done something like this and were ambivalent about the cost but it’s the best value and best money I’ve spent in a long time. It took 65 years for me to learn a valuable lesson, paying someone else to deal with the hassle can be worth every penny. Thank you for the great experience.

Wonderful guide, very knowledgeable of the many sites and monuments with Washington DC. Took us to the sites we were most interested in and many more. Very patient since our stamina is not what it used to be. We had a great time.

This tour is absolutely the best way to get a quick overview of Washington DC in a short time. The Suburban was a comfortable way to ride around the city and the air conditioning was very welcome on a super hot day.
