Pick up from any hotel in the Bangkok city area and depart Bangkok for Mae Klong Railway Market.
Mae Klong Railway Market is considered one of the amazing-Thailand attractions. The market is located by the railway near Mae Klong Railway Station. It is a common fresh market selling seafood, vegetable, fruits, fresh and dried food and other miscellaneous goods. The market is called the 'life-risking' market because its stalls are attached to the Mae Klong-Ban Laem railway, which is a short railway line running from and to Mahachai and Mae Klong. Vendors at the market put out parasols or canvases to protect themselves against the sun. The shelters stick into the railway, where visitors walk and do their shopping. When each signal of the arriving train rings, chaos happens: vendors will rush to close their parasols and canvas, clearing all goods that will obstruct the coming train at a great speed. Once the train passes, parasols and canvas will be reopened as goods are again put into their usual place next to the railroad.
Wat Bang Kung is an ancient temple in Samut Songkhram, Thailand. It was built in the Ayutthaya period. It was the site of the Battle of Bang Kung between the Konbaung Dynasty and the Thonburi Kingdom.
The Amphawa Canal is occupied by vendors who pack their boats with Food and drinks, such as fried sea mussels, noodles, coffee, O-Liang (iced black coffee), sweets, etc. This Floating Market is one of the most popular Markets in the Bangkok area! With Thai and Chinese fusion architecture styles, many ancient buildings have existed for decades at the riverside. Taking the boat to the river and searching for the fireflies together! With a beautiful and well-preserved natural environment, there are fireflies and lots of insects and birds in the jangle, which we can relish on the boat.

We were exhausted from the heat and having just arrived late at night with three children, and we couldn't speak English very well, but they were very kind to accommodate us. It was a bit pricey, but we got to experience how to pray at the temple and the atmosphere that can only be experienced by connecting directly with the local people, and it was a truly wonderful experience. We are truly grateful.

Memorable parts - how horrible the tour was. Old open water bottlea in the car when we got in. Guide slept most of the way to our destination. She was nice, but she did not know enough English to provide us any info or answer any quesrions. I finally just went online and looked things up myself. Worst Viator tour I have ever taken.

An amazing experience ! A good guide. The railway was cool. When you are the first time in Bangkok you have to do this tour.
Perfect organisation with good river and perfect guide. Visits as expected. For Amphawa market is a weekday not the best day to visit. Fireflies OK but would be better in rainseason.
Very happy that we booked this tour, courteous private driver/guide, and well planned schedule overall. Enjoyed every single locations, and we could see and move around freely which is not the case with large group tours. Highly recommended.
My favorite part was the boat trip which let us to some off tourist areas. Also the personal care the guide Aey put in the guide make this a one of kind experience. Thx Aey
