Next, make your way to Amman Citadel, the hilltop collection of antiquities that looms over the city with a private local guide. I had 4 days in Jordan n' with full-day tours of Petra and Jerash/Dead Sea already booked (see separate T/A reviews), wanted to see the Citadel, Roman Theatre in Amman but after hiking Petra, thought my ol'legs would give out, so booked this day tour of Citadel (Umayyad Palace), Roman Theatre a few other sights n' "local" lunch. My guide (Hassan Alqurnih) was excellent; a truly local man, most knowledgeable of local history n' culture and quite flexible with my options. After an extensive Citadel tour, did Rainbow St by car and the "Embassy" area, then Hassan look me to his own personal eating spot (.......I asked for it). Perfect tour, guide and options. Fantastic !!

Tour company was responsive when I updated them of my hotel location. The driver was on time and speaks English pretty well. The visit to Jerash and Citadel was like a step back to history.

My guide Mahmoud was superb. I like to learn about the society of the country I am visiting as well as see the sights and in this respect Mahmoud was brilliant, providing me with wonderful insights about the people of this great country. I do not drink so Mahmoud offered to replace the wine tasting with a Turkish Hammam experience which is really something. Don’t go for the “hard” massage unless you’re prepared to be seriously pummeled. The dinner at a local, non tourist restaurant was first class. Really great traditional Arab food. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and Mahmoud’s company and cannot recommend this experience more highly.
Thank you for your comments and for sharing your experience with us. The nicest complement that our team can get is your desire to return to Jordan with us. We are truly happy to learn that you enjoyed your holiday with us and even, it was difficult to leave. What a complement indeed! Looking forward to your next visit.
I had an absolutely lovely evening with Basel of Zaid yours seeing panoramic views of Amman in the evening followed by Iftar with at Hashem in downtown Amman. I got the see the sights including the Citadel and the Blue Mosque with the burkah and the Amphi theater while seeing Amman from up high The Iftar was most especially the best part of the tour and a memory I will treasure Basel personally broke bread with me with three types of hummus and the Majool dates and Kunafi at the end as the sweet
Great! Looking forward to have you and your family again with us! Thank you.
We combined the panoramic tour with the day tour of Amman. They were both spectacular. Our guide was absolutely amazing. The lunch we enjoyed was outstanding.
Thank you. Looking forward to having you, your family, and friends with us again
We actually were provided the flexibility to adjust our tour when we arrived and added visits to Maraba, Mt. Nebo and a float in the Dead Sea to our itinerary for a reasonable additional cost. Btw- we asked for airport pickup (instead of Hotel pickup) which was also provided for a reasonable additional cost. This saved much time and made our visit much more productive. Hassan was our guide and took great care of us all day and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

This is a wonderful way to get oriented in Amman. We enjoyed the food and I regret not going back to Habibah for more Kunafa multiple times during our week in Jordan. Since it is a private tour, we were able to allow more time at the Citadel and for shopping. The views and sites at the Citadel are spectacular and our driver, Amer, was able to find a knowledgeable onsite guide to provide in-depth history of the Citadel and Jordan. We started our tour early and had the stunning Mosque all to ourselves. I also enjoyed the high quality merchandise in the Mosque gift shop. Our guide, Amer, helpfully tried to advise me on negotiating on Rainbow Street as he seemed to think I could get lower prices. I am glad we took a private tour to see the city as it is larger than we expected and this helped us see more.
Thank you. Looking forward to having you, your family, and friends with us again
I only had one day to see Amman during a business trip. This tour was perfect! Khalid (driver and guide) was great and very knowledgeable. I also really appreciated my guide at the citadel (Ibrahim). Note lunch was not mezze but that was fine since I preferred to spend more time at the sites. 10/10 would recommend.

I had such a lovely time on my tour. My tour guide Basel was incredible! We went all around Amman and then had a hammam and lunch. Most perfect day ever 😍

Firas was great! He was more than punctual, he was at the hotel to pick us up early. The then took us to the Citadel. Having a guide provide historical background was a vital piece. The Roman theater, the beautiful mosque, and going to the shops downtown are all a nice part of an introduction to Jordan. For me however, the best part was last, THE FOOD! I surely was not expecting a five course meal for lunch. Spectacular!
Thank you. Looking forward to having you, your family, and friends with us again.
