After leaving the cave Maruaga we will walk for another 25min through jungle to reach the cave of Judea, a place of exuberant beauty
We'll have lunch at the urubuí's corner
Cachoeira still has the cave of the Galo da Serra and the waterfall of Sucuriju

The tour and our guide Juan Luis were wonderful we enjoyed the walk into the caves, lunch, and the the trip to the large falls at the end of the day. Our only complaint is that while we were provided with transport in the morning to the tour jump off. None was provided at the end of the tour to our hotel. When we contacted Armstrong we just received a reply of “ Return transport not included”. While this had not been explicitly negotiated, it is the usual practice that if hotel pickup is offered then return is usually offered as well. We weren’t the only ones on the tour who were surprised by this. Very disappointing. That being said our guide Juan Luis worked very hard to help us figure things out and made sure we got into an Uber and didn’t abandon us.
The trip was on a micro bus not so comfortable, and the tour was all very late, lunch at 13:30 and we arrived was already at 20:00 The places we visited, a wonder!!

This tour is NOT AS DESCRIBED. it’s 12 plus hours and the guide will be angry when you ask why it’s significantly longer than it’s listed as (8 hours). It’s listed as 15 minutes walks and is instead 2 hour strenuous hike through the jungle so if you have any health or mobility issues, please be aware. My father had significant issues with this and we would not have booked had it been properly described. In addition when I tried to ask clarifying questions, the guide was very annoyed with me and would not help. The other tourists were the only ones who would assist me and him when I was panicking he would have a health emergency. I deeply regret this tour and it’s 8 HOURS(!) of driving. And I am upset at the treatment we received from the tour company given the lack of information, transparency and assistance when we asked for it. I was advised it was “not his problem”. What a terrible experience Viator. Do better.

The walk is very beautiful. I found the guide a little inexperienced put the natural beauty view I found spectacular.

The waterfall experience itself was great, as well as the communication through Viator. BUT The address provided by Viator was incorrect. It was very stressful trying to determine where the correct pick-up location was. I thought we were going to miss the tour. I finally looked up the address on Trip Advisor and was able to run to the pick up point several blocks away. There were too many people signed up for the tour and adequate comfortable transportation was limited. The actual provider, Jungle Adventures, called local drivers. We were crammed into the back seat of a minivan for the two-hour drive. there was absolutely no room to move. Very uncomfortable. But once there, the waterfall hike and swim were outstanding. The minivan driver also carried a plastic gallon jug of gasoline in the back seat. Not the safest thing to do. We ran out of gas on the way back and the driver had to stop and put the gallon of gas into the vehicle.
Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad you enjoyed the waterfall and appreciated the communication, but we’re truly sorry for the stress caused by the incorrect address and the overcrowded, uncomfortable transportation. Safety and comfort should never be an issue, and the situation with the fuel jug and running out of gas is unacceptable. After living a few years in the high Rio Negro, I had the privilege of knowing the beautiful city of Presidente Figueiredo AM, rich with its waterfalls. Sails worth crawling

The experience was amazing, one of the best experiences I have ever had on trips. The package by the iguana is quite complete, has a very good cost benefit. Amazing waterfalls, super polite and gentle guide.

Staff and guides were top notch! Professional and courteous! I am writing to warn that this excursion is not for someone who is out of shape. The trail is mostly mud puddles with tree roots protruding out. A walking stick, mud boots are required. Part of the trip was simply walking through shin deep water. I don’t think the two things you see at the end are worth walking over two miles.

Difficulty of the hike to the caves is far more difficult than shown in description. A lot of up and down, very steep grades.
