Not sure what to choose? Get extended free time in Montserrat (2.5 hours) with the 8:30 am departure, or a scenic ride on the Cogwheel Train (9:45 am departure). Add-On: VIP Winery Experience - Upgrade your day with exclusive access to the winery's barrel cellar, usually closed to the public. Guided by an expert, taste 3 premium wines in an intimate setting, including samples drawn directly from barrels and foudres.

Embark on this well-paced full-day experience that will take you from Barcelona city center to the heart of Barcelona’s countryside. Departing early in the morning from Barcelona's North Station, your first destination will be the scenic Monastery of Montserrat. A whole morning of astounding landscape, views and history await in there. After enjoying a one-hour-long tour through the highlights of Montserrat Monastery, you will have more than two hours of free time (with the 8.30am option, 1.5 hours with the 9.45am option). Your guide will advise on all your options depending on your interests and, so that you can make the most of your time in Montserrat.
Enjoy a full traditional Catalan lunch, followed by a visit to a 10th-century castle turned winery and a tasting of their wonderful wines. Then, elevate your experience with exclusive VIP access to the aging room, where the estate’s finest wines mature, and indulge in an additional tasting of exceptional wines straight from their barrels.

- Tours start at 8:30 a.m. or 9:45 a.m. (depending on the option). Please arrive 20 minutes before the start time because check-in is required at our office before proceeding to the buses area.
- Groups are limited to 20 people per guide, though in rare cases may increase to 22. Transportation is shared with other groups.
- The tour is conducted in English.
- Comfortable clothes and walking shoes are recommended. Montserrat and the winery may have more extreme temperatures than Barcelona—check the forecast and dress accordingly. Bring water, especially in summer.
- The tour is not wheelchair accessible, but service animals are allowed. For reduced mobility, contact us before booking to discuss arrangements.
- Infants (3 years or younger) join free of charge but are not provided with car seats or meals.
- Dietary restrictions or allergies are accommodated without advance notice.
- We often work with boutique, family-owned wineries. Due to logistics, the winery may vary from Oller del Mas.
- Tour timings are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events. We recommend avoiding scheduling other activities immediately after the tour to allow for potential delays.
- We follow all health and safety guidelines issued by authorities to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

Experience was very smooth and logistically everything worked out really well. The Mo and Terry was very beautiful and the time we spent there I thought it was well worth the money as well as the lunch was very good and the wine tasting was very knowledgeable. Because of the open air and the amount of people, it was very noisy and very hard to hear my guide, even if I was very, very close to them. I think headsets or earphones would help out with hearing the information that’s provided.
