Meet your guide at the meeting point in the center Alexandre Albuquerque Square
Next, forward to the historical center of Plateau and start the walking tour through the Jaime Mota Military Barracks, passing by the Presidential Palace, and the Alexandre Albuquerque Square, the city main square which has a water fountain at the centre. In the Municipal Market (closed on Sundays), meet locals and find a diverse range of local fresh organic fruits and vegetables.
Visit the Diogo Gomes monument, who was the Cape Verde's discoverer, and learn the history of the island's discovery.
Meet the locals and explore the largest souvenir market in the country, which has a big diversity of african souvenirs. Here the tour ends and the guide will help you getting back to your accommodation.
