Itinerary
One part of the tour will take you to the right river bank. You will discover the Old Town together with its stunning Astronomical Clock at the picturesque Old Town Square. Then the Municipal House, as a jewel of the Art Nouveau architecture, the Powder Tower, the former Jewish Quarter with several synagogues, the Estates Theatre where Mozart once conducted his operas, the oldest University in Central Europe and much more.
If you like to learn about modern history, the rather dark and sad part of it, then Wenceslas Square is a good option in order to remember some of its formative events and also admire certain charming examples of modern architecture.
Between noon and 2pm you will be motoring on the Vltava River, enjoying the beautiful panorama that includes such monuments as the Vyšehrad Castle or Frank Gehry’s iconic Dancing House, as well as bit of a pleasant music. This might be also a good time to chat with your guide over an excellent buffet-style lunch about some selected subjects regarding life in our country. Note 1: The boat route may change due to weather or lock situations. Note 2: Lunch is included in the tour price.
Once the boat tour concludes, we will cross the iconic Charles Bridge, enjoying scenic views of the river’s left bank, which we shall explore this afternoon.
Malá Strana is home to grand noble palaces, imposing Baroque churches, and lush gardens. From its many attractions, we will select those that appeal to you most before proceeding to the castle.
This time you will travel deeper into Prague's history and cover over a thousand years of Czech statehood. Prague Castle represents a real open air textbook of architecture, offering impressive panoramas. You will get to know the main square with its luxurious palaces and then the individual courtyards where you will see St. Vitus Cathedral, The Royal Palace and the Basilica of St. George.

Jana is an encyclopedia and it was nice to hear. Its stories full of legends, tales, customs and history have made us fall in love with the city even more. Thank you so much, Jana, it was a privilege to hear you ❤️
Spent a full day with Jana learning about Prague. It was so enjoyable and informative. Jana is an expert on history, architecture and culture. We highly recommend this tour!
We were thrilled to have found Jana and her team of tour guides during our stay in Prague. Spending the day walking all over the city with our guide Shaarka was an incredible experience that went beyond simply learning facts about Prague's architecture. She gave us insight into the historic and daily culture, trends and politics of her city and opened our eyes to so many things we wouldn't have noticed otherwise. For people like us, who strive to really understand and experience the daily life of the places we visit, this was a wonderful way to be introduced to the city and changed our perspective to give us more appreciation and understanding during the remainder of our stay. Jana was very responsive and easy to work with before and during our trip. We couldn't have felt safer or in better hands. And we knew we had found a real culture pro when we found out Shaarka was good friends with the husband-wife team who publish Taste of Prague and own the coffee shop we met her in!
