We are proud to say that this experience was awarded with the Viator Experience Award 2023 for second time in a row! This tour goes through the Prado Museum highlights. There are more than one thousand paintings inside (no, we didn't make a mistake, that's the truth), so we can't explore it all, nevertheless, we provide the base for you to go on your own after the visit. That's why we like to describe this as a didactic tour. However, if you're an Art Pro, we've got good news: since we're going to be only 7 people, you can choose what to see and make requests, and that's why we like to describe this as a flexible tour. If you are coming in a bigger group, send a mail and we'll arrange the visit.

Prado Museum probably is the greatest treasure in our country and one of the most important art galleries in the world. After turning two hundred years, our favorite museum still is a wonderful example of artistic excellence. Our 90 minutes visit walks through the highlights of the collection, passing by Bosch, Titian, Greco, Velázquez or Goya.

Lots of older art at this museum. The Reina Sofia has more modern works and should be visited as well. Our guide was very knowledgeable.

We had a great tour with Belén! She was extremely knowledgeable and kind, and we learned so much in the time we had together. She focused on ~10-12 pieces and delved into the context behind each - the artist, time period, country, and stylistic choices. It made me appreciate the work so much. After the tour, when we walked around ourselves, I instantly missed Belén’s comprehensive overviews. I would certainly book another tour with her in the future, to maximize the museum experience. This tour is a great choice for those interested in art and history.

We haven’t enjoyed an Art Museum tour as much as we did with our visit to The Prado. Our tour guide demonstrated a superb level of knowledge and comprehension of the subjects; she delivered her commentary with great wit and word craft, as she focused on the key pieces of work in the Prado. Her commentated tour, section by section of the artwork and painting by painting, had a clear “red thread” joining all the artists and works together from the beginning to the end of the tour. I never realised Art could be so interesting and so much fun. Bravo Macarena!
