Meet our English speaking assistant and our local expert guide at the Sorrento Circumvesuviana train station in Piazza Giovanni Battista De Curtis by the Steps on the Ground Floor. Our assistant will provide you the return train tickets for the local train ride (the ride takes approx 45 minutes). Visiting Pompeii, a Unesco World Heritage site takes you back to the past, it's a full immersion in the history.The local expert guide will take you around the ancient town of Pompeii for 2 hours, showing the main public monuments and some of the most famous Houses of Pompeii ruins. At the end of the tour you are free to return, or stay longer in Pompeii to explore further on you own.

The trains will take longer than you think and they’ll be late. The guide was grand and pointed out a few interesting things. I wouldn’t recommend visiting without a guide.
Gio was an excellent guide, insightful and knowledgeable. He has a witty personality and keeps you moving. He knew the ins and outs of the site and was able to explain and keep you awake and engaged.

It’s a must see if your traveling in the region our guide Lillian was great and very attentive from boarding the train to making sure we where all hydrated because it was hot 36 degrees at one stage
I had always wanted to visit Pompei and this tour didn't disappoint. Reasonably priced and well organised and Gino, our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, as well as really entertaining. You get guided right from arrival at Sorrento station and they use radio earpieces to make sure you can hear and follow instructions. Tip.... make sure you have something to keep the sun off you as there is very little shade. Also, take drinks with you as there are limited places to purchase any before you go in and nothing inside, as it is purely an archaeological site. It's a must do trip.
