I recently visited the gallery and had a refreshing experience. The calm, welcoming space showcases thoughtfully curated contemporary African art. The atmosphere feels accessible, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Though small, it allows you to enjoy each piece without rushing. The seren is a peaceful, inspiring spot and definitely worth visiting
The palace is beautiful but none of the paintings etc within are fpr the Medici family very misleading
Superb guide made this visit a wonderful experience. Thank you so much Camilla. The right pace of tour and Camilla has so much knowledge.
Thank you for an amazing tour. Our guide was wonderful! She was VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE about all the art and the buildings! Thank you for a wonderful time!
A very rewarding tour in a small group where the guide managed to convey both Florence's interesting history and a good selection of the famous paintings. The guide was very knowledgeable and told empathetically. We chose to go through the fashion museum afterwards, which was also very worth seeing.
Tour guide was excellent. Audio equipmemt worked well. Lots of historical details, good stories and our group had many questions all of which she had amazing answers for. Lot of very interesting artwork in the palace. The guide pointed out choice pieces and told stories of the history and significance. Definitely recommed this tour.
Camila was our fabulous tour guide. She was so kind and knowledgeable. Answered all of our questions and really told us the history of the palace and the families. Really enjoyed our tour with her.
Excellent opportunity to see how King's and Queen's lived in the Medici dynasty. We visited twice and also the gardens. Many beautiful parts of this building including this photo of the Medici Chapel
Our docent, Camilla, was so informative! An art restoration artist herself, she shared artistic and historical insights not only of the many works of art in the Palatina Gallery but also of the Medici family! She graciously accepted all questions and answered the questions thoroughly. Camilla warmly welcomed us to the Pitti Palace and was a delightful and thoughtful guide!
Guide was very informed about art. She gave a great presentation on various paintings. Saw some of the great artists works
